Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaWe loved this hotel. I specifically booked it for the onsen and was not disappointed. Free ramen at night, massage chairs after a long day and great breakfast in the morning. Staff were accommodating and location was not too far from station. Overall a great experience

AustraliaThis is the second time here. It’s the closest hot spring to town and there’s so many quality of life benefits here. Free noodles, yakult, ice cream. My favourite is the outdoor baths if you closed your eyes you’d think you were at the base of mt Fuji. I wouldn’t consider anywhere else to stay for my future Osaka trips. :)

CanadaI loved the fact that: it has natural hot springs open late, has nice breakfast in the morning , the subway is just a little walk away and there is a convenience store right outside, i didnt even use the subway to do my exploring. I recommend this hotel to anyone that doesnt have tattoos

United StatesWalking barefoot around the hotel gets a bit tiring after a while.
Fantastic japanese experience. The amenities and the rooms are very traditional but modern and clean at the same time. The location of the hotel is great since it has 2 osaka metro lines nearby so it is easy to move around. The staff was great and the hotel has so many services such as laundry and even saunas for the guests that are much needed at the end of the day.

GermanyEverything was really nice and uncomplicated from check in to check out. Really clean with a lot of options. Unfortunately, you cannot use the Onzen with tattoos. Really sad but that's how the culture is and you have to respect that. I will definitely check in here next time.

Certainly! Here’s a review you can use for your Osaka hotel (Onyado Nono Osaka Yodoyabashi): ⸻ Hotel Review – Onyado Nono Osaka Yodoyabashi We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the complimentary evening ramen, which was delicious and such a nice touch after a long day. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options, all beautifully prepared. The onsen (hot spring bath) was absolutely wonderful — clean, relaxing, and a real treat after exploring the city. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. A perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and traditional charm.

CanadaFelt like a home stay, liked the no shoe policy. And ..no, the luggage wheel cleaner isn't hard or inconvenient. Rooms are well laid out and clean. Liked the button to get new towels. The onsen had a really nice layout, and the sauna was good. Great location for us to explore. Breakfasts were varied, buffet style with many traditional options and a few continental. Very good every day. Massage chairs were busy but a nice thing to have for free. Staff were very good.

SingaporeThe only problem I had during my stay was that the toilet has a musty sewage smell. Thankfully I could close the door to trap the smell in while using the toilet and my room.
I really loved the whole atmosphere of the hotel. Compared to others I've stayed at onyado nono offers ample spaces in their rooms on top of their amazing service and onsen! They're deffinitely my go to hotel when travelling to Japan.

FranceThe staff didn't speak much English. The light in the front of the room was motion activated, meaning it would turn on if someone went to the bathroom at night and wake up the other person. The vent in the bathroom was very loud and could be clearly heard at night.
Very traditional and beautiful hotel (tatami everywhere, no shoes allowed in the whole hotel, onsen). The onsen was very nice and overall the facilities were great. The free soba ramen for dinner was delicious.

NetherlandsEverything was great.
The Japanese vibe is very relaxing, I love that you take off your shoes when entering the hotel, the tatami floor throughout is great. The onsen is exceptional, especially the two individual baths where you can feel the air from outside. Breakfast is also good, mostly Japanese style with some western touches.

NetherlandsIt was a bit unfortunate that the breakfast was not very suitable to vegetarians; I would have liked it if that was an option. Also was it not possible to use the spa when having tattoos.
The hotel was beautiful, very traditional and authentic looking. It was close to the train and subway station and not far from the Osaka castle. The hotel had a lot of nice facilities like restaurant, massage chairs and spa.
