The pillows are rather hard and flat - we expected this so it wasn’t a big deal to us, but FYI if you’re used to soft/feather pillows.

It didn't come as a surprise but the front desk barely spoke english, so make sure to have a Google translate ready if you want to ask any questions. Regardless, the staff was very kind and nice though. Breakfast ends quite early, and they started cleaning up the food area 15min before closing (breakfast closed at 9.30am).

Great traditional style japanese hotel. You need to take off the shoes before entering the hotel as everything is covered with the specials mats. The room is quite small so would recommend booking a premium room if staying longer than a few nights. Definitely try the hot spring - it's really nice and worth the experience, just note it's done naked (while genders are separated). They also provide free ice cream and popsicles, and a free bowl of simple ramen from 9.30pm. Lots of small details that make the experience very nice in the hotel. Also quite nice location.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable

Breakfast was superb. Staff were all very courteous. Love the hot spring and the free ramen and ice popsicle. Direct access to the Convenience store downstairs which is super convenient. Would definitely stay there again!

The size of the tv is huge. I don't watch tv be on holidays so this would have been nice to not have in the room.

I love everything

We spent and amazing time in Osaka in a great hotel! Everything was perfect! The breaksfast so so good! The room has everthing and so clean! Good location near metro stantion, in a relax área! And I love the onsen!! We hope we can come back soon! Kisses from spain!

Short walk to subway stations, and convenience store is located just at ground floor. Room size is alright for one, might be abit tight for two. Room, building interior and facilities are clean. Onsen was good

The Japanese ambience, beautiful decoration and functional design really appealed in this small hotel. All the staff were very helpful despite our lack of Japanese language. A wide variety of choices for breakfast, Japanese and western, and with some interesting variations each day. Location is close to restaurants and subway stations within 5-10 minutes made accessing key attractions easy.

Pillows were kind of hard, and the no tattoos allowed in the onsen isn't a big plus in my book.

I stayed at this hotel upon my arrival in Japan, and I loved that the hot springs were open all night, since I was jet-lagged and could soak at 5 am. I recommend the hotel breakfast, I didn't realize most people go around the hotel in the nice lounge set provided, so the first day I was one of the only people eating in street clothes. The next day my daughter and I wore the lounge clothes to breakfast, and we were completely comfortable.

the front desk staff was not always helpful - particularly when i had stamped postcards needing to be sent. they refused to take and post for me or let me know the closest postbox. this caused some anxiety on my part as i was flying out early am the following day.

Hotel is very comfortable, staff are excellent. Free ice cream in the evening was very enjoyable. The hotel is located in a business area, so be aware that many of the local restaurants are very busy in the evenings and then the area is quiet at the weekend. The metro/train is nearby too.
