United StatesHardest bed I've ever slept on, the pods additionally are not lockable and the only door is a sliding fabric screen. I would not stay here for longer than one night. Still, an outstanding value.
Extremely convenient location, right by a bus stop and short walk from lots of attractions, breakfast was excellent and the in-house sento was really nice as well, especially after a long travel day. Also, the rate was absolutely outstanding.

Fantastic podcast hotel located on a high street about 15 mins walk from Kanazawa Station. Staff were friendly and informative and the facilities were clean and excellent with rentable equipment provided. Superior room was a great option provided space and storage. The onsite onsen was a fantastic introduction to the culture around bathing.

The hotel is very close to Omicho Market, which we always walk over to have lunch. The hotel is only 3-4 bus stops away from Kanazawa Station too. The family room is spacious with a heated Kotatsu. Very good for winter. Multiple convenience stalls are within walkable distances.

United StatesIf you are a resident, you are not required to show your residence card but, if you don't, they will send you away. If you ask questions about why they are asking personal information, instead of saying that they are collecting data for business, they say that you must answer or you cannot stay. These threats are not something someone wants to deal with after traveling hours by train to arrive. The superior pods are very comfortable except that the curtain doesn't go to the top. There are extremely bright exit signs that show into your pod-and if someone else is up with their light late at night, it shines in your pod. This is not conducive to good sleep. I have been in pod hotels where the curtain covers the whole pod, this is just a bad design.
The breakfast was good and the basement Onsen area was clean. The cleaning staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. When I found a pod without an exit sign above it, I was able to move rooms without too much fuss. The room had everything you needed and it was nice and warm.

location is super great just right beside bus stop. Two stops from Kanazawa station, less than 8mins walk to the market and kolinbo, and many bus route will drop by, easy to go any site.

GermanyYou can't lock your pod. It feels really anonymous which I didn't like that much.
Everything was clean, the breakfast was good and they provided slippers and toothbrush etc. The location is great, you can walk everywhere or take the bus right in front of the hotel. It was pretty quiet when I stayed there because they weren't booked out, but I can imagine it can get noisy otherwise.
