Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandThe apartment were a bit far from the main JR or even subway station (kotoni) if there were some snow falling or rain without umbrella, you could get soak from walking to the stations. The room was great, enough space for 3 opening luggages and comfortable for 3 people to stay, even though the entrance of bathroom was a bit cramped as there was washing machine standing there. Unfortunately, they weren’t supply any knifes or scissors in the kitchen for us to use for cooking meats. Also the closet was a bit too cramped for 3 people using. We will still choose to stay here next time we visit Sapporo again though. Some staffs were willing to help with what we needed, especially the girl on the night shift on the second night we spent, even she doesn’t speak English but she was enthusiastic to communicate and she did helped us a lot).

JapanThe wifi is unsecured, but that is pretty normal. Although there was a saucepan, frying pan, rice cooker, silverware, etc. there were no knives and the bowls were really small--definitely not designed for cereal/granola in the morning.
The room is fantastic for couples. It was spacious, warm, and quiet. The humidifier was great. The separation of the bath and WC is a nice layout. The kitchen has a full-sized fridge, microwave, and gas range so we could cook breakfast easily. There was a huge closet with a set of drawers. We could store our suitcases so they did not get in our way. It was easy to access the subway (3 minutes away) and the JR trains were only about a 10 minute walk away.

Czech RepublicTowels were not that soft and the plastic sheet on the table felt very cheap - better to apply varnish to preserve the table than this. The beds were too hard - as usual in Japan.
Very spacious, beautiful design, highly functional. We felt comfortable like at home. The clothes refresher was a welcoming addition and fun to use.

TaiwanMy reserved parking lot was taken twice, though the staff quick contact the car owner or provide alternative parking, the experience itself was not so pleasant.
Great hardware and clean environment, friendly staff.

SpainEverything was awesome!
A great price-quality ratio, a large room exactly like in pictures, a fully-equipped kitchen with wine glasses and other utensils, a comfortable bed (in my case it was two single beds put together), a walk-in wardrobe which is a nice element to it and the staff that went the extra mile to print out restaurant recommendations and a route to Teine ski resort when I asked. I came to Sapporo to ski so the location was key for me. To get to the Teine ski resort, you need to walk 15 min to Kotoni JR station and take a train for 20ish min to Teine station, then a bus (check the schedule in busy times!). A wonderful experience with the hotel that I would repeat without a doubt.

AustraliaThe bed was uncomfortable. Nothing else was a major issue the couch didn't offer much back support and the lg styler was too confusing to use but overall the stay was good. Beds were too firm.

United KingdomA really comfortable and clean room with almost everything you need - washing machine, steam/drying closet, stocked kitchen, TV, sofa, walk in wardrobe. The staff were very friendly and even helped me forward my luggage. The location was amazing, a few minutes from a subway station that will get you to central Sapporo in about 10-15 minutes. There's plenty of stores and restaurants around the hotel as well. It was good value for money and I would stay again

New ZealandSoundproofing between rooms and to the street could be better. Limited laundry drying facilities for a longer stay, but enough space to be able to improvise.
Nice comfortable and well-equipped room. Really good location, 50m to the subway entrance. 10 minutes walk to the overland railway station, so a really good base from which to explore the Sapporo area from. It was nice to have a fully manned front desk with really helpful staff. The English standards were good, and in addition the staff all had pocket translators to help sort out any communication difficulty. There was an unlimited supply of towels and amenities which was good for an extended stay.

United StatesKind and helpful staff who went the extra mile to make my visit easier. I loved the kitchenette and proximity to the grocery store so I could save money on meals and get proper nutrition for my special diet. They have the guest's comfort in mind and have the guest experience very thoughtfully planned out. The room was clean and quiet. I was not bothered by cigarette smoke smells or noise.

IndonesiaIt is not cleaned everyday. Upon check in, we were informed when the scheduled cleaning is and even then, there was no cleaning was done because apparently we need to request it. Weird.
It’s actually not too far from Kotoni subway but Kotoni is 6 stops from Odori stn. The room is spacious with kitchen, washing machine and cool LG style steamer which we didn’t end up using. We booked the room for 5 people and there is no room with door for the bedrooms. There is partition but actually open.

SingaporeThere is no dining table for some weird reason. Maybe it is because we had 3 beds.
The property is centrally located in the Moroni area, 5 minutes walk to the metro and 6 stops to ordori one way and a couple to other attractions like shirokobito and Royce so a good balance or in-between location.

SingaporeThere is no dryer, and the drying cabinet took a long while for the clothes to dry. The bed in our room (northern european style) was almost wall to wall making access to the wardrobe difficult. We kept stubbing our toes on the bed when walking past.
We liked having the carpark and access to the subway so that we could leave the car at the hotel when going into the Susukino area for dinner. The room is big and kitchen is well stocked. There is a washing machine for laundry.

United KingdomThis is absolutely not a complaint, just worth noting for other guests: Kotoni is not really very central to Sapporo. However, it is very easy to reach, so this isn't a problem - just take the Tozai Metro line to Kotoni Metro stop: Villa Koshido Kotoni is only about three minute's walk from there. The metro is cheap and efficient and links directly to the city centre, and from there to the airport.
I reserved an apartment for 6 nights, to allow a breathing space in a period extended travel. This place was better than I expected: the apartment was very well equipped, very comfortable (comfy beds and sofa), well furnished and some surprising high-tech touches like the LEC clothes steamer, which can be set to dry, humidify, steam or refresh your clothes! The reception staff were very sweet , smiley and helpful, which made me feel relaxed and at home. All in all, a lovely set up which I recommend highly.
