How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Single room is tight for two people. The double room is a perfect size to stretch out.

All good.
Really close to station, great for sightseeing bus. Room was small but well designed. Onsen really good and spacious. 4 machines in laundry. Restaurant basic but well organised and efficient.

Very convenient location for public transport including trains, buses and trams as it is just a 2-minute walk from the Shinkansenguchi/east exit of Hiroshima Station. Decent onsen facilities.

The breakfast was a let down. It’s from a fast food chain and just nothing like the breakfast at the other hotels we stayed at in Japan (which are of similar price/rating)

I do not mind to wait if too many people during breakfast time. But if you sit at the back, nobody will entertain you even you have pressed the bell for few times. The waiter/waitress will serve those who come later and sit in front. However, food served is delicious.

I have no complaints at all.
It was in a great location, a block or so from the train station. I thought it was a good value for the price and I enjoyed using the public bath. My room was comfortable and was a decent size. I would definitely stay there again. Since it was so close to the train station, I was able to hop on the circulator buses that have routes to the main sites in Hiroshima.

There is no bottled water provided like other hotels do. Breakfast is not buffet style. Order is taken by the cafe staff and is served individually and it gets pretty crowded in the early morning. So if you are in a hurry, you would need to wait patiently for your meal to be served. It could take up to 15 min.
Location is convenient, just a 5 min walk from the train station. I was put in the top floor where the public bath is, so it's very convenient for me to go to the public bath. There's a cafe next to the hotel, which also serves as the breakfast place.

Superb location, just 2-3 mins walking distance to train and bus terminal station. There is airport shuttle bus and city tour bus started at this bus terminal, just in front of train station. Absolutly a great choice to guests who take Hiroshima as a hub to travel around. The hotel meets expectation, and great value for money. Breakfast is set menu in the attached KOMEDA'S Coffee. The public bath/onsen is a plus.

Nothing really. Of course the room was compact but better than the one other Japanese hotel we stayed in. Smoking room could have been a little larger.
Location near to station. Whole hotel was brilliant for the price. Would not hesitate to stay their again. Breakfast was very nice too. Very quiet and comfortable.

Conveniently located within a couple of minutes from Hiroshima Station by foot, this hotel offers everything you’d need for a simple trip/stay. With this price in this location with a free breakfast at Komeda Coffee, I couldn’t have asked for more!

Very close to the JR train station. Room was clean and tidy, though it may be a bit small for some people. Staff were very helpful.
