The breakfast system is a bit weird, as you need to know at what time you will have it and tell them in advance.

Friendly and helpful staff. The private room was clean and cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. It's within walking distance to the Peace Memorial Park, great shopping spots, and some excellent restaurants.

Not much bad to say about WeBase Hiroshima, we had a great experience. I guess the only thing I would change is that I asked about shipping some luggage back to the airport, and they can't help with that in house. They did tell me exactly where to find a Yamoto transport office in the nearby shopping area though, so they got me exactly what I needed even if I had to walk a few blocks to do it myself.

Great place, very close to peace park, nice rooms, breakfast included, lounge area in the lobby, nice shopping area nearby with a variety of food options. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting hiroshima as a tourist.

The place was clean and tidy. However you had to keep your luggage in a lock up area which was annoying to get all your clothes out in a communal area especially when there is 30 other people in the room.

I booked a room with a private bathroom. Small, coolly minimalist, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great value for money and in a perfect location for walking. As well as the memorials and gardens, it's worth going up to the Museum of Contemporary Art...the views of the city are fantastic and the jungly walk down is lovely on a sunny day.

The place is very comfortable for solo travelers, the rooms are super nice, so is the bed, they have everything you might need for your stay and there is a lot of storage for your things. I would know, i had two big suitcases and two packages. On the forts floor they hace a cafe, and there is a lot of info for your stay. The location is very nice, it is close to the peace memorial park and there are a lot of things nearby.

My back was a bit sore from the bed but I think that’s more me being used to western mattresses rather than futon style.

I don’t usually write reviews, and was a bit hesitant about staying in a mixed gender dorm, but it was either that or pay loads for a fancy hotel. WeBase Hiroshima was surprisingly great - the dorms are really well organised, the bunks (or capsules) are well kitted out, the showers are clean and the staff are super helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The mattress is quite thin, even compared to other capsule hotels in Japan. You also have to make part of the bed yourself with a flat sheet, which I thought was a bit unique. The capsules are quite hot and don't have any airflow in them - you can ask for a fan however.

This hotel has a lot of personality, and has an astronaut space cat as one of the first things you see when you walk in. The lounge/cafe area is a great space to sit and work at all hours, and the kitchen has items to cook with. The staff were also very kind and interested in conversing/sharing recommendations. It is in a great location as well, super closer to shopping street, okonomiramura, and a 15ish minute walk to the Peace Park. Wifi is strong throughout the property, and the bathrooms/capsules are clean.
