Modern hostel in the centre of Hiroshima. Family of 5 in 2 rooms, one with 4 bunks and one with 2. Own bathrooms. Very clean with all the amenities of a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed communal area that was also a cafe serving breakfast and curries for dinner. Lots of local eateries and only 10 mins walk to the Peace memorial Park. An easy walk from bus stop or 5 mins more from the tram (both from station if you come by train).

Smell in the dormitory. I understand that there are many people there and owners can’t be responsible for everyone hygiene, but many of cabin hotels and hostels in Japan doesn’t have this kind of problem, I have no idea how did they manage to solve it, but as others can do it so can you.

My only suggestion: I wish they had coffee and hot water kettles in the rooms so we could have coffee before getting dressed and coming downstairs to buy it.

The location could not be more perfect. It's a two block walk to the Atomic Bomb Memorial Museum and Park. It's in the most walkable neighborhood possible with great paths along the rivers for jogging or walking. There are delightful restaurants within two or three blocks: I had vegan one night (Lave), Vietnamese another night, French a third night, Japanese okonomiyaki a fourth night, and Turkish a fifth night! I was disappointed I didn't get to try the Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood but I ran out of nights. While I was staying at WeBase, an entire high school also stayed there. I did not hear a thing! The rooms seem completely soundproof. I can't recommend this place enough. The staff was super helpful and knew the answer to specific questions I had about services in Hiroshima.

What is there not to like. Not a thing.

Glass walled lobby has an uplifting vibe. The staff let me store my backpack before check-in. They were accommodating and so nice. I will look for this place on my return trip to Japan.

The pillow was a 4 way type, which made it very hard.

Great location. Walking distance to the peace park and main entertainment district. Takes a bout 20 minutes on the streetcar coming from Hiroshima station and then about a 5 mins walk. Cafe on site People in the big dorm type room were quiet.
