Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe air con’s a bit fierce but I tend to get cold really easily. My husband liked it.
This place is essentially a modern take on a hostel - bunk beds but in your own room with your own small bathroom. There are also numerous shared facilities like a laundry, a kitchen, a big fridge freezer (there’s also a little fridge in the rooms) and a big lounge space downstairs with tables and also a few comfy chairs. It’s smart and clean and also very well thought out in terms of both design and what it offers. For example the rooms are pretty small but a good use of space means there’s somewhere to store your bags, shelving for belongings, and a place to hang clothes. Lots of handy sockets for charging. A dimmable light directly over each bunk for reading. The mattresses are exceptionally comfortable. Someone has really thought about what people need in this situation. It’s a short walk from the Peace Park and near a tram line for the station (line 1). Several restaurants within a few yards of the front door including a really excellent Vietnamese place around the corner which I would highly recommend if you fancy a change. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others.

United StatesThe rooms are very small, the bathrooms especially to an almost humorous extent. But at least the rooms had en-suites. We arrived to the hostel at 2:45 and check in is at 3 and they were unable to check us in even just 15 minutes early which is to be expected, but still something to keep in mind.
Wonderful English speaking staff who were very helpful during the check-in process. The cafe on the first floor was also very good, and cheap as well. The room itself was very clean and the AC was cold during the September heat. There is also self service luggage hold available for those who need to hold bags before check-in or after check-out. The hostel was also less than a 10 minute walk from a large shopping center and only 25 minutes from the peace memorial park.

Amazing staff that helped us a lit with a medical emergency we had. Super clean rooms. Very comfortable bad and pillow. The shared kitchen was very convenient. Water pressure in shower was great. Located 10 min walk from the park.

DenmarkThe air conditioner was right on top of the bed. I’d put normally, it would blow directly in our faces all night long. We “switched” sides of the bed, but didn’t work much as on the lowest setting the air conditioner was still very strong
The place is very central but still in a more quiet area. However, with lots of restaurants near by and convenient stores. The room was very small. But for 2 nights it was good (we also only had one small luggage). There are washing machines on the 3rd floor and those were also extremely helpful

AustriaI am a non smoker and was on the smoking floor. You are not allowed to smoke it the room so this was fine but the corridor smells of smoke since there is a smoking room located on the floor. It is not a strong smell at all but as a no smoker I smell the slightest hint of cigarettes. Maybe it’s different for other people
The restaurant attached to the hotel is really cute. Everything is very clean and rooms basic but very comfy and stylish. Staff were extremely nice and always helpful. Breakfast was European style and had wheat bread which I very much appreciates after two weeks of no bread at all.

JapanTrue, the size of the room is small, the sink is located in the same room. The toilet and shower are also small, exactly for one person.
New modern space with a beautiful cafe for breakfast! We stayed in a separate room with a bunk bed. Everything in the room is clean, new and fresh. Good location, we walked to Hiroshima Peace Memorial.

SwedenThe only small issue is that you can't look out the window as it was milky, but that is unfortunatelly common in Japan. If not for this detail I would score it a 10. The good thing here is that you still get a lot of light in, so not as bad as in most other hotels.
Great room, communal area, staff, wifi and location.

United KingdomThe social part is not very ideal because people are busy with their own things.
It’s very central and facilities are very clean and tidy and there are small lockers in the bed area where you can lock your goods into it and they also have locks available for your luggage. Staff are very friendly and polite.

United StatesThe attached cafe is a bit pricy and not too vegetarian friendly.
Very clean and comfortable capsule hotel. Easy walking distance to public transportation (direct line to/from train station) and the Peace Park and museum. Shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Staff is polite and speak English. I didn't have the breakfast, it was a buffet with a variety of offerings. Shower was clean and hot. No issues with WiFi.
