Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The floor was dirty aswel. The hotel also didn’t want to provide any help or refund the already paid money. Please don’t go here.

Very accessible to the local interests such as Shinjuku's main area as well as the most amazing grocery store "York Foods" right next to it. Definitely check it out if you stay here it was 100% the best supermarket I visited during my 3 week trip!

AustraliaCentrally located to Shinjuku Gyoenmae station (about a 600 metre walk)- exit/entrance 2. NB: Entrance /Exit 3 has the lift if you have luggage. Not much further along the same no.2 platform. There is a grocery store around the corner- York Foods. The grocery store has all your needs and is reasonably priced in which if you have had a big day out, grab some sushi and head back to your room. As far as hotel rooms, they are normally quite small, however this is like a little apartment- enough storage space, hanging space and a washing machine and drying facility in the bathroom. A great place to stay when you are out and about all day. Easy to make your own breakfast in the kitchenette, having a bit of space is excellent. Clean, has all the basics done well. After all, nobody goes to Tokyo to stay in their room.

United KingdomI was confronted by an angry staff member who demanded to look at my key, maybe she thought I hadn't checked out in time for 10am even though I was staying another day - I didn't appreciate my day starting like that.
The facilities in the room available were decent. Location turned out to be ideal. It's a great space for solo travellers and couples. The bathroom was great.

JapanIn booking.com the information is missing that it is an apartment hotel. The front desk was unmanned for my entire stay. (9 days) The walls throughout the apartment were stained or damaged, the first night the air conditioning did not work. And I didn't know how to get in touch with the staff as the reception was never staffed and the whatsapp QR code was not valid. I wrote a message about booking.com and the problem was resolved

AustraliaI was going to give a much better review but changed to 3 stars due to our checkout experience. Check out was listed at 10am. Cleaning staff buzzed our intercom at 10:03am and when I explained we were leaving in 5 minutes (slightly delayed due to travelling with our 2 young kids), the woman was very rude and hung up. We ended up checking out at 10:12am yet the hotel messaged me to tell me they would be charging us 2000 yen per hour due to our “extended stay”. Very poor experience and complete lack of courtesy and common sense after what was previously a good stay.
This hotel is in a great location in walking distance to local restaurants and train stations. The rooms are clean and decent size for Tokyo including kitchen and seperate bath and shower. Cupboards provide plenty of space for luggage.

United KingdomThe flats are equipped for two. two would be ok for a couple of nights but I was there much longer, and two could not cope in there for that length of time. I had all my stuff on one bed, slept on the other, and sat on one of the chairs by the window on occasion. Nowhere, for example that one could sit and also eat, as nowhere to use as a table other than the bed. just about room to squeeze between bed and TV to reach kitchen. Only just enough stuff to cook with -- eg one cloth for wiping dishes/surfaces/to use when holding hot pans; meals have to be simple in such a confined space. Space issues not unusual for Tokyo, I realise, and I also know the flats in the block vary slightly. The flats are run very much as a business. They are only cleaned when you leave, otherwise it's over to you. Small issues with decor suggest lack of TLC. All communication is by WhatsApp or similiar. However all queries were dealt with decently and fast, anything I needed when I ran out was provided. A few decent extras were in my flat - more than one plug extender, which was useful, and a weighing machine -- but I believe these vary a bit from flat to flat. Note that those on the lower floors barely get any daylight. I had to crane my neck to see what the weather was like! On the other hand if one tires of waiting for lifts entry and exit via fire stairs is fast.
I needed a self-contained flat near to various in-city commitments, and this was that. Good supermarket and food options round the corner. Pleasant enough suburban area, easy walk to Shinjuku for nightlife and transport links. In spite of all the comments below I was perfectly happy in there for three weeks.
