We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

SingaporeOur room's window faced the morning sun, and when we stayed, the sun rose at 5+am. Whilst the room had awesome blackout blinds, sunlight did get in through the gaps and we woke up a little earlier than we wanted to every day. Not a major deal breaker though. :)
Staff were incredibly polite and pleasant. We felt so well-taken care of during our whole trip. It rained quite a bit and they were attentive in ensuring we had umbrellas to get around. Ito Yukitei also wasn't swamped with tourists when we were there. :) Onsen was not crowded too.

Love the private open air bath, just need to book the time slot with front desk. The staff was very helpful and friendly, there’s heavy rain when we arrive, the front desk and concierge came out with towel for us. The room is spacious and very clean, bed soft and comfortable, the view from the room is beautiful.

JapanThe smell of smoke in the room took away some of the luxury feeling. Could you make a few non-smoking rooms?
We booked it specifically for the private onsen, which was really nice. The staff as well. The Japanese style room was also comfortable. Please note that all rooms are smoking rooms. The smell was not very strong and didn't bother us too much.

United StatesBeautiful retreat for one night between our busier legs of the trip. The public onsen was so nice. The room was silent with good AC and very calming. The hotel called to make a reservation at a local resturaunt a few blocks away with some of the best sashimi we’ve had on the trip. We reserved one of the private outdoor baths at night and it was magical. In the morning, they called a taxi for us free of charge back to the train station. Highly if you’re looking for a 1 night spa recovery!
