The hot springs were great and it's very close to the ski lifts. It was very nice to jump into the open air springs after a day of skiing.

United StatesYou must expect Japanese beds and food. No shower in the rooms, so you have to bathe at the onsen (perfect).
Wonderful Japanese style accommodations immediately across from a great little ski area. Eat breakfast looking at the sick pow you’re going to shred in a few hours. Après ski, wear your hotel issued matching jammies to the onsen. What’s not to love? You must expect Japanese style accommodation and breakfast.

MalaysiaThere are almost no restaurants nearby. Also no convenience mart around.
Hotel is just opposite a small ski resort but it is about 20minutes from Sapporo International Ski Grand. Outdoor Onsen looks big in the picture but actually it is much smaller but nice. The Sauna room is on the outside just beside the Outdoor Onsen.

United StatesI went in April so the skiing could’ve been better and the rental gear wasn’t my favorite so I recommend bringing it if you really are concerned with performance. But that has nothing to do with how the stay actually was.
The Onsens were so nice and clean the out door one was beautiful. The Japanese style rooms were so comfortable. It was right across from Asari skiing. The bus stop was less than two minutes away. They had maps and travel guides. The staff was super nice. The breakfast was amazing I definitely recommend adding it to your package.

GermanyI didn't care about the look of the hotel rooms (Onsen available and not expensive). Don't expect nice ryokan rooms. The mattress could be too soft for some people.
Nice Onsen, my room was very cheap and clean. I think it is a converted retirement home? So the rooms look like from a hospital, but are spacious compared to business hotels.
