The road driving up was narrow and not easy but glad the positive experience paid off. Limited staff and it happened to have only 1 check in staff who was held up by a customer and we waited for almost 20 minutes before we can check in. It is pricey.

Fresh air and a fantastic view - Tokyo was visible. While there were a number of families over the weekend, you have the privacy and tranquility in our cottage. The cottage was clean. Glad that the shower room has heater.

Basic yet comfortable bungalows up in the mountains (entirely made out of wood). Barely any mobile reception (Wifi available), thus great to place for relaxing and / or hiking in the surroundings. BBQ equipment easily available if reserved ahead. Has everything including a warm shower. Considering to go again.

Amazing place just an hour drive from Tokyo. It is a resort with wooden cabins. Each cabin has a private shower with toilet. If you’re looking for a place to recover and enjoy quiet nature, this is definitely a place to be.

This was our second time going to this place! I was a bit worried because it supposed to rain, but never miss the chance to be in this place while raining! The host is so nice and helpful. we might go there for the third time!

No food is available at the Hotel and nearby.

A secluded place, right for a romantic date. The last 15 km road to the hotel is through deep forest with steep climb and is utterly scenic and beautiful. The log cabins are clean, well equipped and cozy enough. I highly recommend it to couples who are looking for a deep connect. There is nothing else to do but to be with you and your partner. The hotel rents out BBQ gear. You need to bring everything else with you as the nearest shop is at least 30 mins away. The Owner/Manager Watanabe-san is very helpful and speaks bit of English. It is close to Tokyo, just 100 km, about 2 hrs.

Nothing much. I walked to the place and noticed it took about 50 min for me ( women, hiker, middle age), not 40 min as indicated on their website.

clean, quiet, easy check-in and out. Enough amenities. location is great to go hike up to Izugatake. it was nice falling asleep to the sound of acorns falling from trees.

The bbq facility is great and the view of the mountains was very relaxing. We didn't have a car so we traveled by train. Don't forget to reserve the shuttle from the train station to the facility at least 3 days before. Otherwise, you'll have to hike up which we also didn't mind.

Not the property’s fault, but you need to be okay with bugs. There are *a lot* of bugs outside, and there were even 2 medium sized wolf spiders inside. There are no nearby stores/conbini, so be sure to bring all you need.

The view was breathtaking and the staff member was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There is a minimal selection of items for sale at reception if you forget any essentials, and gas stoves (yakiniku style) for rent. Amazing place to relax and live simply for a while. The cabins look exactly as they appear in the picture.
