We meet Jos at the front desk to greet us and was welcomed with open arms. He was very helpful in the knowledge of the area very helpful to get where you're going and for ideas of the area to visit. We definitely love to visit again. Arigato gozaimashita

We paid for the garden villa with a bath and got no view or garden. The bath was outside in a 1m square box surrounded by a fence similar to a kennel. not what was advertised or pictured in any sense.

Be careful when you book a room here on booking.com with a private spa, we booked in Oct '23 but then when we turned up in Mar '24 they'd put us in the two rooms that didn't come with a private spa, the pictures of the room when booking were very misleading and we're pretty savvy travellers. We then had a really hard time with the member of staff explaining what had happened, and had to pay an extra 17000+ yen to move to a room with private spa, that originally we were told wasn't available but after showing them the availability on booking.com they suddenly had availability? A pretty bad experience all round which sadly tainted the 2 nights we had there.

Futon was good for a traditional experience, but the pillow could be more comfortable.

Location was very convenient, the staff very kind, breakfast simple but delicious. The bungalow itself was very cute and comfortable for us (4 friends), they also offer kimonos to wear inside (super cute). The private onsen was very relaxing on a cold night enjoying with a glass of wine.

We took a Japanese style room and it was amazing. The futons are very comfortable. The balcony bath is amazing. The breakfast is modest but the Western style (sandwiches and pastry)

We are so happy to be able finding such a comfy place to rest. Everything was so perfect from the facilities, location, service and etc. There is also a shabu-shabu place that literally perfect for eating dinner. Everything was beyond our expectation, thank you so much.

We stayed only 1 night at the Onsen villa with its private onsen. So take my review with a grain of salt. It was very expensive for the night we stayed (Jan 1st) and the quality of the room / hotel did not meet that kind of price in my opinion. Onsen was very small, and we didn't feel like using it, so I don't recommend booking it for that. There is a real onsen across the main street, so it is not worth overpaying the hotel for the private onsen like we did. These rooms are separate from the main building, so not sure how the main building is like but we could hear a man snoring from the next room all night. Our bathroom was also very small. Location was very far from the train station (Fuji-Q-Highland); and there were no taxis / buses available so we had to walk 20 min to the hotel with our suitcases. I recommend taking the bus to Fuji-Q-highland from Tokyo which is better connected to the area vs. the train.

Behind a big Don Quixote, and nice family restaurants close by. Across the main street from the a big Onsen (5-7 min walking). The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy.

Mt fuji wasnt seen in the hotel I was expecting to have some coffee with the view of it. But overall service was excellent.

The staff are so welcoming and can speak eitherway in Japanese or English, will give you ideas where to ide if you dont have a car with you.

Misleading photos on website showed 2 sleeping rooms in the Bungalow. This was not the case and the door had been boarded up. Tried to discuss a partial refund with owner who told me that he was not interested. Although he did admit to it being misleading. Grounds had leaves everywhere and plants around Olsen looked dead. Previously had cooking facilities but current owners don't allow cooking.
