Not really related to the property but the google directions to get to the hotel had me walking all over. It is a little remote to the strip area the local main area is but walkable.

The little breakfast spread was nice, you pick your slot grab and go or sit and eat. I liked how relaxing and scenic the location was and the private onsen was just lovely.

everything was great!

Super clean and convenient place with a simple and good breakfast (well stuffed sandwiches, tea/coffee, cereal, bread with jam/butter, boiled eggs). The volcanic rock adorned baths were so nice (one for women, one for men), you can reserve them for 30mins. We had a large tatami room with our own bathroom with our own japanese style table +chairs. We came via car and parking is free and easily accessable.

We booked months ago but were allocated the noisiest room in the place, opposite the reception, by the main entrance and within earshot of the piano in the common area. Sound proofing in the room was inadequate. We requested a move when we checked in but we were not accommodated. The place is obviously popular with young backpackers out to enjoy themselves. A large American would not be able to use the ensuite in our room. Beware the gas fired heater with no external venting unless you like CO2. Use the A/C instead. The "American breakfast" was mainly cereal, boiled egg, a sandwich and yoghurt, nothing hot. The coffee was acidic.

We meet Jos at the front desk to greet us and was welcomed with open arms. He was very helpful in the knowledge of the area very helpful to get where you're going and for ideas of the area to visit. We definitely love to visit again. Arigato gozaimashita

The staff was very helpful,the location was good,the room is very clean and spacious.What we really liked was the bath tub on our Balcony with a view and their hot spring decorated with Mt.Fuji stones.The water that they use is all natural from the Mt.Fuji so it was a plus for us as well.The food was enough.

We paid for the garden villa with a bath and got no view or garden. The bath was outside in a 1m square box surrounded by a fence similar to a kennel. not what was advertised or pictured in any sense.

Be careful when you book a room here on booking.com with a private spa, we booked in Oct '23 but then when we turned up in Mar '24 they'd put us in the two rooms that didn't come with a private spa, the pictures of the room when booking were very misleading and we're pretty savvy travellers. We then had a really hard time with the member of staff explaining what had happened, and had to pay an extra 17000+ yen to move to a room with private spa, that originally we were told wasn't available but after showing them the availability on booking.com they suddenly had availability? A pretty bad experience all round which sadly tainted the 2 nights we had there.

Futon was good for a traditional experience, but the pillow could be more comfortable.

Location was very convenient, the staff very kind, breakfast simple but delicious. The bungalow itself was very cute and comfortable for us (4 friends), they also offer kimonos to wear inside (super cute). The private onsen was very relaxing on a cold night enjoying with a glass of wine.

We took a Japanese style room and it was amazing. The futons are very comfortable. The balcony bath is amazing. The breakfast is modest but the Western style (sandwiches and pastry)

We are so happy to be able finding such a comfy place to rest. Everything was so perfect from the facilities, location, service and etc. There is also a shabu-shabu place that literally perfect for eating dinner. Everything was beyond our expectation, thank you so much.

The facility doesn’t match the website photos and descriptions. The facility looks old and not appealing.

I don’t like anything about this place. The location is not convenient from the bus station, and facility is old.
