We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Sweden- I had many ants in my room. I mentioned this to one of the staff who didnt do anything about it. - The towel hanger fell of the wall. - You could hear the neighbours very well. - There were no waterpressure and no hot water in the hotel. - Some construction was going on and started early in the morning at the office building.

KenyaThe hotel had very poor communication. They accepted my booking, only to be told when I was checking in their is no room available. This is 11pm at night. The manager incharge told booking.com that I didn't show up and they tried charging me for no show. This is wrong. Their official number is rarely picked.

KenyaI was expecting a better breakfast than Githeri. The pool also didn't look clean. there were ants everywhere in the room and there was no warm water for shower.
Lake view, comfy bed and good mosquito net. Nice location, available parking. Quick room service available.

Friendly staff. clean and comfortable room. It was nice there. We will book again if we are in Kisumu. The fee for the shuttle from the airport to the hotel is expensive but very safe and everybody should do if you are first time in Kenya.
