The room didnt have wifi, as a 4star hotel it is expected to have room wi-fi. Location is a bit far from the central location and otber restaurants and shop.

Adjacent to Garoda beach which is nice. The pool area and the common space is nice. The accacckmodation is spacious.

Fantastic second beach pool that overlooks the ocean and has blissful views of Garoda beach The entire Staffs I interacted with are fantastic people, highly recommend this place Loved the air-conditioned rooms, a choice of gorgeous swimming pools and a decent on-site restaurant Beach view sunbeds – day beds overlooking a Watamu beach. One of the best spots in town for lazing on Garoda.

It’s a beautiful property everything was good food was amazing beach is nice only thing we felt like the staff focused more on the Italian guest we noticed everyone gets a starter if your order food at the restaurant and first day we never got one and the second and third day we had a really friendly waiter who gave us the starter but last day another waiter served us she didn’t give us but gave the table next to us when I asked her she just laughed and said she can still give it to me . Otherwise everything was perfect just think the staff needs to treat non Italians just as friendly

Location is great, the pool at the back, comfortable and big rooms.. The food was good and options for whole family.

The breakfast was really basic. The options was too limited for a four star hotel. The quantity of food against the cost is not worth it. The juices given at the check in and during breakfast is also boxed juice and not fresh juice which was really annoying during the whole stay. Fresh juice I a four star hotel should be a basic give like water.

They only have Bed and breakfast option. The menu for the breakfast was monotonous and could be boring. The Ala Carte menu also was largely Italian and Mediterranean and does not cater to a wider clientele.

The location was good compared to most hotels in watamu it had a good view of the beach, good crowd at the hotel. There were many activities offered by the the hotel like kite surfing, snorkeling and boat rides.

Structure little obsolete but still comfortable if you are not looking for luxury/extreme modern place Agent for tour / excursion available only of spot; should be more present in order to help as well last second plan little misunderstanding for the payment (wrong conversion in local value); fast solved & reimbursed

The only aspect I found lacking was the breakfast buffet. While the quality of the food was satisfactory, the variety of options was limited, leaving much to be desired in terms of selection. I believe enhancing the breakfast offerings with more diverse choices would greatly improve the overall experience for guests.

My stay at Gecko Hotel was truly enjoyable. The resort staff were incredibly hospitable, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The service throughout my stay was excellent - friendly and prompt, ensuring all my needs were met without hesitation. The room provided was beautiful, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, creating a comfortable environment even the hot weather. Additionally, the lunch and dinner options offered at the hotel were quite pleasing.

Location was very convenient, just by the Beach. The two pools for Gecko guests were great too along with the varied breakfast menu. Staff were friendly and kind. Rooms were impeccable
