The hotel is getting alittle dated but the staff are amazing they try their best to overcome issues, The hotel has outdated rooms they need upgrading or modernising but all in all the staff made my stay excellent. I've stayed here on and off for over 15yrs and it's always surpassed my expectations Asante sana

The room was ample but quite outdated, stuffy, and dark. While the outer areas feel classic, the room just feels old.

The pool is very nice, spa/sauna are good, gym also pretty nice. The hotel decoration is colonial and very classic. Works very well for the outer areas.

We stayed first & last night of our stay in Kenya to. The room we were in that first night was a little musty smelling. It is a very dated hotel but it's still clean & comfortable

Centrally located in Nairobi and only around 30mins from airport. If you want to walk around Nairobi it's really well-located & great value. There's also a good size pool & the restaurant has nice food, breakfast is okay. Although there are cafés within walking distance if you want a better breakfast. Very friendly & professional staff, although lady by pool towels was a bit moody.

For a 5 star - it was missing 5 star items in the bedroom for instance - an old iron, no toothpaste / oils / slippers - shower is in the bath .. and at breakfast if you wanted a coffee latte - they wanted more money .. these are not the normal for a five star hotel

Old style hotel with a history in a great centre - a 5 star !! Great steam room / sauna and pool 2 nice bars and cafe restaurant and good lunch and dinner

The safe box had been broken. And we changed the room. There are some Beatles and insects in our . There wasn't any tooth brush, soap, shaving pack... The breakfast was not good.

The food service is very very slow when you order from a menu (vs. using a buffet). The location is scary. The streets of Nairobi CBD are crowded, not clean, and we were told not to walk very far. While the hotel was nice, it was a bit like being in a refuge we could/should never leave.

The staff was amazing. They were all so friendly and helpful. It was nice to have a pool bar, restaurant and elegant lounge.

The hotel cannot change its location but we felt we had to stay inside because the city streets are crowded and rough. The A/C did not work well. /

The hotel offered an extensive menu in two restaurants. The bar is elegant. The staff members were all very service oriented. The gym is very well equipped.

I think that the juice we got on arrival was spoiled. It didn’t taste good and we both got stomach ache after it. The take away breakfast was good but also pretty expensive.
