Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA few km out of town (that made it a bit more peaceful for me)
Great friendly staff, particularly Mikey and fantastic facilities with the eco pool and the jacuzzi. 2nd time I’ve stayed in the ‘hobbit’ room which is small and clean with a fan and excellent value for money.

CambodiaWe liked sleeping in Bilbo's house from Lord of the Rings. Actually, we only booked this place because we saw a swimming pool on several pictures but did not check what our bedroom was actually like. We were surprised at first but found it very funny and enjoyed our cosy, minimalist and convenient bed !

ThailandNot really my cup of tea so cancelled after one uncomfortable night. Most of the there guests seemed to be having a good time, though. The tent was more like a concrete igloo with what for me was an entry too low for comfort. Shower was close, but toilet way too far away for comfort, plus poorly signposted. Opted not to try the swimming pools - the murky green waters of the larger one did not inspire confidence for someone whose doctors had warned against any pool that seemed doubtful. Noticed that some parents were not allowing their kids into same pool, sticking to the smaller one that was a normal, clear and chlorine based.. Staff certainly helpful throughout, and entertainment also good,

United KingdomFound myself having to come back to Kampot again and again and each time I stayed here at Bohemiaz I had a great and unique experience meeting locals, and eating the amazing Buddha Bowls, and swimming in the pools, warming up in the sauna. Its an excellent place to stay. Highly recommended again this time I stayed. Always good

United KingdomThe fact i cant just live here forever.
The food, the pools, the sauna, the steam room, the jacuzzi, the close proximity to good yoga, the local village vibe, the friendly expats, the food, the pool, the people. Excellent!

VietnamMy stay at Bohemiaz Resort in Kampot was exactly what I needed. I stayed in one of the hobbit huts right next to the natural pool, and it was such a peaceful spot. The natural pool was quiet and serene, perfect for a swim or just chilling by the water. The rainwater pool was great for a longer dip, and the shaded jacuzzi pool was ideal after a day of exploring. Plus, I loved having access to the steam room and sauna – a nice way to unwind each evening. The food was simple but so good. The Buddha bowls were my go-to – fresh, healthy, and tasty. Fresh coconuts were a daily treat, too. There’s also a minimart just a short walk away with cheese and chocolate, so I made sure to stock up on those little indulgences! I also took full advantage of the yoga center just around the corner. The sunrise and sunset sessions were the perfect way to start and end the day. There’s something about stretching out while the sun rises or sets over the landscape that just makes the whole experience feel even more special. The staff really made the place stand out, too. They were all so friendly, funny, and easygoing – they really created a relaxed vibe that made the place feel like home. Bohemiaz isn’t just about the beautiful setting – it’s a place that feels welcoming and unpretentious, where you can just be yourself. If you’re looking for a peaceful, authentic retreat in Kampot, this is the place.

NetherlandsBeautifully landscaped garden, tropical, flowers in bloom, well maintained daily. Just like the swimming pools, which are neatly cleaned every day. So are the rooms. The hotelmanager, an Italian lady, did her job more than excellent!👍

United KingdomThis property was not as listed and did not look like the photos. Me and partner arrived checked in early the staff was helpful... walking to our room we realised the place is very run down ... The pool was nothing like the photos ... it didn't look clean at all not well maintained in the slightest. The room had a huge gap at the bottom of the door where the wood had snapped off which would of allowed plenty of mosquitos not net in the room, loads of ants on the dresser, holes stuffed with tissue paper next to the air con, the bathroom had a very bad smell and was very run down. Unfortunately we didn't stay a night there we checked back out and booked elsewhere. I understand this is a budget property. But we found somewhere cheaper exceeded our expectations in every way.
Unfortunately didn't end up even staying one night here. Had to change accommodation.

CambodiaThe location is really remote and very difficult to reach. The road had too many potholes, all filled with rainwater. Additionally, the staff was unsupportive in providing a motor. The room was very damp, and all the crevices were filled with tissues. Overall the stay did not feel good.

United KingdomRooms not clean (dead bugs and animal droppings on floor and by bed). Power went on twice during stay, once for majority of the night- meaning no a/c or lights. Bad water pressure in shower. Iced coffee was underwhelming for SE Asia standard. A bit away from everything- but cheap tuktuks available.
Moved to sister resort nearby (2min walk) on check in. Upgraded to a/c room for no extra cost, which was much appreciated. Still had access to spa and restaurant at main site. Free water refill at both locations. Very basic gym equipment. Organised bus and boat to Koh Rong, including pick up from resort.
