It is funny, our favorite room is on the top floor with a fabulous riverfront view balcony. As coincidence would have it both in July and December there were huge street fairs booming across the street. It is lively and exciting. Fortunately, they knock off by 10:00 pm. With that said, we will not hesitate to stay at the Classy whenever we are in Battambang.

i suppose the hotel is on the other side of the river away from the main resturant area of Battambang howvere you can get their quickly and cheaply via tuk-tuk

The breakfast we great -- there was plenty of food -- the pool area was also nice -- nothing beats having a cold drink around teh pol after a hard day sightseeing :) the room was well maintained and very clean the staff were very helpful the entrance was rather imposing but once you get over this eveything was great

The property is tired. I have stayed there 5 times previously. The walls in my room, which was a top price room, were stained and needed repainting.

Extraordinarily noisy!!!! Was not given the room booked!!! No toilet paper!!!!!!! Accused of stealing towels!!!! This really is the pits! Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!

The overall vibe of the place was not that nice, very outdated furniture and decor that may have been nice 30 years ago but not up to todays standards. That was of course fine and expected from the images. The beds were quite uncomfortable and had the first bad nights sleep for our whole trip which was unfortunate. What was really disappointing was the fact that overnight the closed window leaked over the floor and caused a lot of our stuff to get wet, including a pair of sneakers. We were able to fry the sneakers off using the provided hairdryer. But for the dirty clothes- we asked reception if they could wash and dry the soaking clothes free of charge due to the inconvenience. They said they could offer 50% off (mind that these weren’t dirty clothes, just very wet with rain water) We reminded them that this was needed because of the puddle of water in our room, then they said they would do it for free which we were happy with. When we returned half an hour later to the hotel, they said that they could only wash the tops and pants for free, not they underwear and socks, and we had to pay in full. We agreed as it needed to be washed. Ultimately, it was a smallish price to pay but one we shouldn’t have had to pay at all. Overall not an enjoyable stay and was very happy to leave.

It was incredibly noisy outside the hotel, to the point where you couldn't even hear yourself think even in the room.

Staff couldn’t find reservations for an hour even though i had booking.com confirmation. Had to call booking and they couldn’t do anything. Room was dirty. A small rodent kept pooping in random spots. Had to close all luggage. Staff said no more rooms. Booking.com did nothing to help. Ended up staying one night and leaving 2 days early. Loud music played all night outside hotel. Beds where very hard and uncomfortable. One room had ac that barely worked.

because most staff have poor English and are taught ‘what westerners like’ it is difficult to get people to understand what visitors actually want - you want one egg - you will be given two, you want water without ice - you will be given the prescribed water with ice. It’s hard for everyone at this stage of the development of tourism but better training and more flexibility is the way to go!

The one thing I would like would be if the elevators were synced. They are called independently, which is very inefficient. I frequently take the stairs which is good for exercise.

The Classy is beautiful, has an outstanding swimming pool and rooftop restaurant. Breakfast is included and is extensive. The staff is very well trained. The front desk staff are English fluent.

Seems that the best days of Classy are gone. WiFi is weak. Breakfast room too small when a group of people takes breakfast at the same time.

Staff are useless. Asked to see duty manager, no duty manager. Call manager then. They don't have phone I am told. So obviously managers of hotel are only people in Cambodia who do not have mobile phones. Very poor customer service.

A company did some annoying loud-speaker advertising about 100 meters away, but fortunately they only did it during daytime hours. I did not experience this in the past when I stayed here, so I assume this was not the usual.

The hotel is clean, the breakfast has a large variety of Asian and Western foods, and the staff are super. The location is especially excellent for the appointments I conducted in the city. The pool is large and well-maintained, too.

Sauna is forr male use only. Somewhat unfair and out dated in 21st centry. I understand vultural differences but surely they could have different time slots fir men and women.

Fantastic hotel , large but amazing value for money. Huge selection fof buffet breakfast. Pool Is fantastic enclosed in an oasis oc greenary you firget you sre in a city. Easy walking distance across tge bridge to many different restauants. We extended ouf stsy by 2 dsys at tge reception desk.

With its very rich wooden architecture this hotel was in the perfect location for New Year’s Eve, as Battambang’s NYE party and fireworks was right outside. The rooftop restaurant is spectacular with a 360 degree view all over the city. My Tuk Tuk driver took me on a personal tour each day to see for example how sticky rice and rice wine was made. Fabulous breakfast options and you can eat by the pool! The staff are very friendly and helpful. 10/10.
