Bathrooms weren’t really checked or cleaned very regularly and often didn’t have toilet paper.

This hostel was a quiet and comfortable hostel close enough to the party, but a great escape away from it if that’s not your thing. What made the stay incredible was the amazing staff. Fin was extremely kind and drove me around on his motorbike to get anywhere that I needed! He went above and beyond to make my stay amazing. I felt extremely safe here as a solo female traveler and highly reccomend this place to anyone visiting Koh Rong.

Nothing it’s perfect

Very clean and spacious dorms which are clearly quite new, it’s also located in a very pretty area which is only a short walk from the beach. The owners are so friendly and helpful and really made our stay special.

The location was perfect : near the nestival but far enough from the afterparties 👍 The dorms are nice, with aircond 👌 And the best part : the owners are super nice and friendly, they helped us several times when we needed it !

This hostel is great for solo or couple travellers who want to be close to the party scene without having to worry about not getting woken up by the music. The distance from the beach is not far and the host is extremely helpful. We wanted to sleep here for two nights and ended up extending it to five nights. The dorms host eight beds, but it feels spacious enough that it almost feels like you have the room for yourself. The facilities are modern and the bathroom is outside the dorm, so you won't get woken up by people using the bathroom in the middle of the night.

nothing, it was really just a perfect stay!

very new hostel, so everything was in good shape, very clean and all you needed. the AC works very well and there is a pleasant smell in the dorm. the owner and staff are extremely friendly and helped us with everything we needed. it’s a short walk to the beach (which is probably the best beach on koh rong) and there are restaurants, a laundry place and a little grocery store right around the corner.

I really love ❤️ this hostel quiet clean very helpful the owner..not far from Longset beach ⛱️ 250m from Nest Beach Club is most popular place for doing the party it's very easy to rent motorbikes..boat Trip tour. I really appreciate and highly. recommend if you look for the hostel in koh rong do not miss Garden Hostel.

On arrival, we did not feel this property reflected the pictures on booking.com or the previous reviews. It is in an area where there is unfortunately lots of rubbish and unfinished building work. The build quality of the rooms is poor with badly fitting windows and doors that allow in insects and lizards. When we checked the bed, there were large stains.

The staff were understanding of our decision.

We paid what we thought was quite an expensive price for SE Asia. We had 6-7 power cuts directly to our room (not hostel wide) as the breakers couldn’t handle us having a shower. The air conditioning hardly worked the first two days; seems turned down by the staff. No fridge in the room, water provided was very hot. Location is far from the pier, some instructions from staff on how to get there would be helpful.

There are Mosquitos but not really much you can do about that. I sprayed heaps of repellent and I never got bitten. It would be quite a rough walk to get to in the heat of the day or a $10 USD tuktuk from the Pier which is a bit of a hidden cost.

The hostel rooms are nice, beds are spacious and comfortable. The walk to the beach was short. The closest beach isn’t crowded either it’s lovely. Aircon throughout the day was also nice. There was one shower with heating which was nice.
