Great staff and very accommodating. Provided a great tour to Ankor wat with an amazing tour guide. Great pool and room quality with full curtain coverage and luggage storage facilities. 10/10 breakfast and food at the accommodation

I love this hostel. I enjoyed staying here so much and ended up staying way longer than I planned. The rooms/bathrooms are super clean and the common area and pool are really nice. Also the food/coffee/beer isn’t overpriced. The people who work here were super helpful and nice. It's a very chill lowkey vibe but I was also able to meet a bunch of people so it can be social if you want. Thank you so much Gecko Hostel for your kindness and hospitality! Nice location in a quieter street, comfortable bed and possibility to get a locker and towel against deposit, nice foods. I received good advice from the staff on activities and had nice chats. On the first two nights I asked if the A/C could be turned up as I was freezing, which they did, and the following nights they put it on the higher temperature on their own initiative. A small improvement could be to add one or two sun beds, it would make the swimming pool more enjoyable.

Amazing hostel that is owned by locals that can give you lots of great insider information. They are super friendly and helpful. If needed they can help you to get tours, bikes and bus tickets. You can get extra blankets, towels, locker key and they also serve great food for a fair price. The vibe is cozy relaxed and people are calm at night. I had lots of great conversations with the staff.

Perhaps mosquito nets would be helpful as they were some in the rooms as well as bathrooms.

Not much really, it's a new hostel so still some renovations but no issue.

Amazing hostel, very good staff, clean and the pool is a nice touch - it's out of the sun too. Excellent and quiet location (which I prefer), small cafe or two nearby. Market, pubs and restaurants approx 5 mins walk away.

It is a really cozy, beautifully decorated place. You can really see they put a lot love in it! The staff is very friendly and it really feels like coming home. It’s clean and comfortable with a little restaurant, pool and nice sitting area. The location is absolutely perfect, you can walk to everywhere!

The bathrooms certainly need improvement, but the hotel is well aware of this and it is not such a big problem.

we are so well received at Gecko hostel, always with a smile, time to answer our many questions, time to chat a little at the reception. I stayed 10 days (more than expected!) and I felt very good there, the atmosphere is good, chill, and the meals offered are very good! the dormitory beds are spacious and comfortable, I got attached to this place and I thank the whole team a thousand times 😙

All was perfect. I’ve seen some comments about the number of bathrooms, but in my opinion there are plenty for everyone.

The vibe is really nice, nice place to rest, I've stayed in hotels and I got more sleep at the Gecko, people are calm, respectful because that's how the managers wanted it Nice bar, VERY nice food for the price, same for the drinks, just one of the best places to eat for the price, tied with some really good restaurants and I'm not kidding

Friendly, knowledgable staff who were kind enough to allow me early check in. Affordable dorm, nice private beds with curtains, good location, good tours, clean rooms and bathrooms. They are a new local business so they are still improving the hostel - this is not a negative because you can see that they really care and want to make it even better.

Great central yet quiet location in walking distance to Pub Street, night market and the river. I really liked the lush outside area with plants and pool, the very comfy beds and bathroom in the dorm. Best above all ist the lovely staff. They helped me with tours, bus and TukTuk booking, were always open for any questions or wishes and even checked me in early after a long night bus. They really make you feel at home abroad!

This is a nice newer hostel. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The place is close to some great cheap restaurants which is a 5minute walk away across from the blue spa. For the price you can’t beat this.

Super nice stall willing and wanting to help with tours, bikes and any transport. The lemongrass soup was delicious... Good Coffee.., they did it up nice. Thanks it was a pleasant time.
