Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe air con in our room was perhaps a little less efficient than we have been used to, so the room was on the warmer side. However, it was still very comfortable.
Hotel in a lovely green setting, with lots of trees and birds. Very quiet and relaxing in a busy city. Very clean and pleasant pool. The room was a good size and very comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and good coffee. A couple of good places to eat and drink just outside the hotel or you can walk 10 minutes and go to Bassac Street area or other restaurants.

This was probably my favourite hotel during our three weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam. I loved everything about it. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our 16yr old is 6ft2inches and hit his head on the hotel sign on the street. The next day, they invited him to stand under the sign….they had moved the sign higher!! Exceptional service!! Our rooms were spacious and immaculate and the pool was a quiet oasis under the lush canopy. Would definitely stay here again.

SwedenCons - staff only recomended places/resturants that they owned, no chance for good recomendations. The manager/staff did not even know what bbq is or pretended to not know, honestly quite rude. - asked for them to arange a guide and car for going to places like killing fields, suggested group tour or grab (Uber). - the day we arived (very tired from buss ride), we went down to sit at the pool and have a drink. We were met with aah you want to order food. We said no, and wanted a drink but the person in the bar had to call a manager to try to arrange it, but seemingly did not work. So we went up again to our room, and ish 30 min later we realised we wanted to eat something so we went down again to eat, but then the oter manager/receptionist states that "the kitchen is closed" at 16:30? Seems quite dishonest... but who knows, luckily most kitchens in Phnom Pehn where not closed on foodpanda...
Pros - location - pool - rooms - vibe

Location is excellent. We live the architecture and admosphere of the colonial building. The garden is nice and calm. Spacious rooms and excellent shower. The rooftop pool at the hotel next door is beautiful as well and can be used free. Excellent breakfast with lots of options.

Cute little jungle hotel in the middle of the city! Amazing for cooling off after a morning of sight seeing. Great location as it’s walking distance to the grand palace and down to the river. A lot of local vendors, little restaurants/hotels near by. Definitely check out their sister hotel Penh House for rooftop views!!

SingaporeNothing, srsly! :)
This is a beautiful and quiet property in a great location in the city. It has old school Phnom Penh charm; the architecture, space and design are of colonial coolness. The staff are excellent, the restaurant (I had the breakfast there included) was wonderful and the pool and courtyard area is lovely. My room was gorgeous! Simple and elegant. The bed always huge and comfy; I slept like a log. Bathroom and shower impeccably clean and nice (rain shower & quality products). I would definitely stay here again and sad that they were fully booked on my return trip through PP.

SwitzerlandBreakfast could maybe use a bit of variety or some nice fresh juices and the coffee is definitely not the best.
Amazing little hide-away in a busy city! Room was super nice, big, clean and with a comfortable bed. We had to postpone our trip due to sickness and the staff was so nice and helpful with everything. In general the staff is really amazing - always helpful and with a smile. Location was perfect for us and it’s very easy to go around (or you can use Grab). We can only recommend this place!

United StatesI would have liked a greater sense of privacy. My room was, as I had requested, on the ground level. I hadn't expected that the door -- the glass door -- would afford a clear view of the bed, or that the heavy curtains available to block that view wouldn't work if I wasn't in the room. So I had privacy at night, but would have preferred less visibility at other times. A small light near the table would also have been nice. :)
The location is ideal for seeing many of the highlights of Phnom Penh. The pool, with it's underwater "jet" and sheltering greenery (complete with birds) was an absolute delight! Breakfast was very good, most staff were extremely helpful, and the room was comfortable (if not well laid out, IMO). The spa at the paired hotel is worth visiting!

SwitzerlandThe noise proofing is really bad. I am admittedly a light sleeper but I think this noise level would bother most people. I had a ground room floor and when someone was walking overhead it sounded like elephants were escaping. Luckily it seems this hotel mainly attracts people looking for quiet, so I think for the most part you should be ok. One morning though the people above me were up at 6am, which meant I was up at 6am. The poolside bar seems to be really badly stocked when it comes to juices. They had always run out of almost all juices when I wanted something. Never managed to get some coconut water. Again, you can luckily go to the rooftop bar next door. They are much better stocked. The pool pump was quite loud.
This is a lovely little hotel with lots of vegetation. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was really spacious and comfortable. You have a kettle and some coffee and free water in the room that gets replenished every day. Breakfast was excellent. You can choose from a list of items that includes Western and Asian foods and reorder if you want more. The Penh House Hotel next door belongs to the same owner and you are allowed to use the roof top pool. There's also a bar and restaurant that serves excellent food up there. I could store my luggage and was allowed to use the pool after check out till I left for the airport.
