Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CambodiaThis really does feel like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. It is located on a quiet side street, with some good eating options very close by. The pool is shaded, so quite cold in December, but will be a bonus in the hotter months of the year. There is well tended greenery around the whole place. There was a good breakfast selection. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was shut 2 out of the 3 days we were staying. This wasn't a problem with some good places to eat near by. The room was a good size, a great shower with hot water on demand, and complementary Bodia spa toiletries. There was a kettle, and TV with many films available. It isn't the cheapest place in Phnom Penh, but you get what you pay for, it was very reasonable for the quality of the place. The managers and staff were friendly and attentive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jungle Addition. The room was clean and comfortable and it always smelled good. Breakfast menu was limited but was perfect for us to start the day. The location was excellent and within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars and the river. If you need a tuk-tuk though, ask for Mr. Thom! He’s fantastic and just outside the hotel. You won’t regret your decision to stay at Jungle Addition.

SwitzerlandWe loved everything.
The absolut best place to stay in Phnom Penh. It‘s a green oasis right next to the Royal Palace in a cute street full of little cafes and restaurant. The rooms are gorgeous and clean. The staff is amazing snd helps with everything they can. Breakfast next to the pool is very tasty. And all of this for a very good price! The Jungle Addition belongs together with the Hotel Penh House that is just next door. You can use their stunning rooftop pool and their gym which we gladly did.

This hotel has a family feel and feels very safe. My room was large with a lovely bed. The location is perfect for walking into the city and there are good eating places nearby. Having access to the gym restaurant and rooftop pool in the sister hotel was an unexpected bonus and made the experience perfect.

This is an incredible hideaway in the middle of the city. it’s very quiet and relaxed. it’s a beautiful property with well equipped rooms and the hottest water for showering. a real plus. The owner greeted us warmly at 6am when we arrived and made us coffee.we were also given our room much earlier so we could settle in and take a nap. The staff were all very helpful and polite, a very special place to stay.

United Kingdomif you are a very light sleeper you may not appreciate the 530-630 sweeping. however, the morning is the best time in Cambodia so it serves as a useful alarm!
The location is fabulous. walking distance to the palace and national museum. and very cool vegetarian/healthy restaurant called Planta and a friendly bar called Bong Bong Bong around the corner. The pool was gorgeous and there is lots of greenery. The owners worked very hard and were helpful at arranging tuktuks and helping with arrangements. the free refill water cutting down on plastic waste was greatly appreciated.

United KingdomThis hotel would be a straight 10 but for the fact the beds and pillows are not great. the bed is the traditional hard Cambodian style mattress which is ok but not comfortable but the pillows are awful, both hard and lumpy. it’s a shame as it’s a great hotel. Some more plugs would have been good too, none in the bathroom and only the ones for the lamps in the room.
Jungle Addition is one of the nicest styled hotels we have stayed in, the attention to detail is great and it looks wonderful. The location is amazing and the staff excellent.

CanadaHard to answer, there was really nothing negative that I can recall.
This is a perfect, peaceful spot for your stay at Phnom Penh. The hotel is a large house surrounded by a lush, green garden with a pool. You have no idea how much you will love the pool once you are back from hours of walking under the inhospitable sun. This place is taking care by a family: Julie, her husband and uncle who provide a dedicated, personal service. There was also some additional staff, including Dalia (if I remember her name correctly, which I doubt!), that were equally kind and helpful. In short, the room was very comfortable, and we really liked the enviro of this hotel. In addition, Julie also arranged for our trip by car to Siem Reap and helped us to recover our luggage (that did not arrive with us!). Overall, a memorable experience, we enjoyed our stay deeply and hope to return one day... P.S: make sure that they send somebody to pick you up at the airport if you want to avoid discussion with the taxi driver and paying more than you originally arranged for...

BelgiumNothing negative about the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have twin beds what would be good to have when you travel with a friend.
This hotel is a little paradise in the middle of the city. It’s really well located next tonthe King’s palace and it’s quiet ! The rooms are spacious. The bathroom’s products are qualitative (brand Bodia). The hotel is run by a French couple and they are really nice!
