We had a very very good stay at this place. It is outside town but we were happy with that. There was a familiar atmosphere, but at the same time, very professional. Wifi was very good and also the air-conditioning. Not luxury, but you have everything you need: good bathroom, bed, garden, sight on the river and everything very clean. And last but not least, the owner Ben speaks perfectly english and organizes everything for you, like bus tickets for going to Vietnam etc., At the veranda place you can talk with other guests and have also your meals. Top place to stay some days for recharging our energy.

Ben, the owner, and the managing family were extremely helpful, friendly and caring. I was assisted in the organisation of tours, transport and cooking class. The meals are freshly made by the family and at very reasonable prices. The location is on the riverbanks, but away from the vibes of the town, yet transport was never a problem.

Some of the facilities can be renewed. And it would be very nice to have a fridge at the room.

The place is family operated and you can truly feel that they enjoy being hosts. They create a very welcoming environment and are always there to help you with everything and give very good advice. The location is also exceptionally nice. It's right on the river and you are surrounded by nature. The kitchen is also very nice if you don't have energy to go to town. Good wifi in the entire area.

It was an awesome experience. Ben was the best possible host. He helped with everything we needed, and provided good tips around the city. Also the rest of the team was very helpful when Ben wasn‘t around. The sunrise views from the bungalows are amazing. And free kayaks for the river are also included in the booking. I would love to come back!

Ben and his team are superb. Garden room was very comfortable with everything we needed. Location is fantastic, a little out of town and on the river, where you can swim and use the free kayaks. Breakfasts were good too. It was our favourite place to stay on our Cambodia trip

We didn’t stay long enough.

This place is a gem! The location is close to town and bus stop. The waterfront rooms are dreamy, big enough, clean and comfortable. We loved everything about this place. It’s peaceful and big enough to have privacy by the river, get tanned, swim and enjoy some drinks. The food was delicious!! And the hospitality was the best.

Everything was so amazing. This is a lovely place to relax for a few days. It was simple to rent a motorbike to get to the further attractions, and easy to get a tuktuk into town. The property itself is so beautiful and the restaurant was pretty good. The employees are so incredibly kind and Ben is the most accommodating and friendly host. I loved just chatting with him and his son and playing with the cute dogs.

Wow, Kampot was the highlight of my Cambodia trip , largely in part due to this gem of a property. We got the river facing room and spent many an hours idling on the hammock or reading on the bench while having breakfast . Ben and the whole team are very sweet and will go out of their way to make the stay comfortable. The mattress and the duvet were so comfortable I had the best sleep in many months there. The room itself was terrific with well thought out layout and all the modern amenities you can desire.

Loved the location right next to the river, it’s quiet and peaceful and you can go for a swim whenever you want. Also, it’s only a 10m tuktuk ride to Kampot so the accommodation is perfect if you want to chill but also wanna check out a few cafes or restaurants in Kampot itself. Ben and the other people working there are really friendly and helpful, so it feels like a second home quite quickly. They also offer a few breakfast and dinner options which is great when you don’t feel like going into town :)

Great place with amazing views. The hotel staff is amazing and very cordial. Everything in Kampot is just a 10 mins tuk tuk ride away. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to relax and have a laid back trip. Would love to visit them again.

When you want to go out to the center of town and use an app like Passapp to get a tuk-tuk, it takes a certain amount of time. I don't know why, but I always only caught the tuk-tuks on the east side of the river. I guess there are not always tuk-tuks available on the west side of the river. If your main interest is walking around town, you may be more likely to stay in the center of town.

Our stay here was very good. As many other reviewers have written, the hospitality of the owner, Ben, was excellent. He is always available for any consultation and makes suggestions to suit your needs. Even if you don't have a detailed itinerary in mind, stay here first and discuss it with him and you will have a great itinerary in no time. The city of Kampot itself is also easy to spend time in and I highly recommend this hotel.

More comfortable seating on the deck would make it even better

Lovely staff who provided a warm and friendly welcome. Excellent advice and help from the hotel owner which helped us have great Kampot experience. The hotel is on a pretty and unspoilt part of the river and is an easy 9 mins from the centre of town by tuk tuk. The deck over the river outside the room was a lovely spot to have breakfast.

Wow wow wow! If I could rate Riverfront Boutique 100/10 I would. It is the most beautiful setting and the most lovely vibe. Ben and his family really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The food is great, as was the tour of kep and the kampot coutryside I booked through the hotel. So amazing to watch the sunrise over the river and swim straight from your room! Loved it.
