Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A little out of town but easy TikTok journey or scooter rental. We had some confusion between the main host and the person manning the desk in the evening as we expected to receive the same information but the man working in the evening had his own contacts for transfers which forced us to rearrange plans.
Great value for money, comfy beds, good atmosphere and social spaces with activities every evening. we would have stayed longer if we could just to be there for the famous Taco Tuesdays (even popular with the local expat community). Incredibly friendly service and recommendations for the area.

Had to pay extra for mayonnaise
Room was a very big size and we had 2 fans. Good location, not far from centre. Staff had so many recommendations and were super helpful about everything. Taco Tuesday was AMAZING and the quiz was fun! Free water which was amazing.

Within walking distance of town though in the heat: a 3 wheeler may have been a better bet!
Taco Tuesday! What a great night. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Mathilda's Tattoos: great and very talented. Within walking distance of the main town although a 3-wheeler ride is better in the heat!

Nothing, it was all perfect!
The place is great !! Lovely hosts, a particular thanks to Alessia, Sambath and Vin! We felt really welcomed. 🥰 Swimming pool is a real bonus, and the price really cheep. Also delicious food and regular activities (music and tacos on Tuesdays, burger on Sundays)

Air con doesnt work well but thats small thing.
Nice place where to stay in Kampot. Rooftop chill for taking beer and some food and meet another travelers. You have also swimming pool to cool down if you need it. Place is close to centre and you can borrow bike for 5$ straight in hostel. Personal was lovely and I need to give them big thanks for help to me with my glasses which I forget in Phnom Phen. They called and managed delivery to Karma Trade hostel. I have there great time and of course there is plenty of activities around to visit.

The room was basic but everything else about the hostel was great! The food there was some of the best we had in Cambodia. Taco Tuesday was cool with live music and the staff were very friendly and helpful :)

Rooms are huge, the crew filled every request we had. We booked one night and end up staying there a whole week! Win and Alaysiya in the reception are the best!! You can ask them anything and they are happy to help! Highly recommended, they have a bar on the rooftop which is the best for young people

The amount of awesome people you get to meet here is amazing and the pool, bar and restaurant are really good. Rooms are super clean with ac which is very good considering the price. The best bit is the staff, especially vin, who went out of his way time and time again to help me!

The wifi was not working well and it's a little bit far from the city centre (but close to the night market).
Super friendly staff, nice pool area, you can rent a motorbike there. They have two bars and restaurant service. You can buy the tickets to go to Phnon Phen at the place, then you have everything you need. the beds are really comfortable and the bathroom was super clean.

Little bit far from anything - 20-25 minutes walking.
Nice and helpful staff, good restaurant (whole day) and bar, they have scooters for rent, room was clean and big. Beautiful friendly animals all around and great atmosphere :)

The only thing that Ic an think of is that it's far out of the town (20 minute walk) if you aren't renting a motorbike, but tuktuks are so affordable i wouldn't say this was a big problem.
all of the staff were so friendly and kind at al times, they made my stay so comfortable and were willing to help. The private rooms were in a different building which meant they were nice and quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here and ended up staying longer than planned because the hostel was so great. There are a lot of dogs on site who are friendly and all have their own stories.
