Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyReally nice place. It's located a couple of meters away from the main street so it's rather quiet and you won't hear any traffic at night. Rooms are simple but totally fine. Nice restaurant/bar/social area to hang out Staff was really nice and helpful Highly recommend staying here!

NetherlandsYou really need a scooter to get around, there’s not much close to the guesthouse itself.
Incredibly helpful and friendly staff, amazingly tasty ‘tacos’, clean room and comfy bed, 15 minute walk from the crab market, scooters for rent right next door.

ItalyVery nice accommodation with great vibes! They have French tacos for dinner and breakfast and a bar. Our room was clean but without a/c so it was very hot but we knew that. Not far from the crab market and you can rent scooter just next door. I would definitely recommend staying here!

United KingdomThe room didn’t offer towels. There was no A/c, just a fan. The water in the sink didn’t drain away properly.
It had a great communal area. A pool table and good food and drinks selection. The staff were lovely.

Czech RepublicThe drainage in the bathroom was very slow so after showering there was a centimetre of water on the bathroom floor.
The place has a very nice feel, our room was basic but comfortable and great for the price. We liked hanging around the restaurant, playing pool, and the French tacos are yummy. The owner also organized an excellent tuk tuk driver for our pepper and salt farms tour, Hong.

AustraliaI really do NOT like to be critical ! But..for $21 USD p.n...a kettle/jug ,in the room should be included . Plus a small bar fridge. Look..I know..they'd have looked at the 'cost effectiveness' of this..but, I'd have stayed longer if these 2 were included. Initial outlay ? May be expensive, but a dollar or two extra per night...would, over time, prove profitable! Their own coffee machine, in the 'eatery/bar' area..not a cheap outlay..and the coffee itself..not really hot enough .Look...these are 'minor' issues..and are only relevant to me ! Noone else may agree! ? Plus, I reluctantly say all this as the staff are so outstanding !
Can't comment on the food,in general as didn't eat there, though everyone said I should,as they all had nothing but the highest of praise for all on the menu ! ! But..I'm not a great 'foodie' ! (1)..: The staff...absolutely outstanding..doing not an easy job..catering to everyones different requests ! They ,all, couldn't have been more welcoming/helpful/gracious/friendly ! Plus ..: me being a selfish joker..all had excellent English..I'm just too damn lazy to even try the local Khmer ! (2)..: Location..I enjoyed it..a 30 minutes walk to the Crab Market..too far for some, but they need 'get off their bums' and enjoy a decent stroll! Weather in December/January...ideal.! Footpaths all the way and flat surfaces ! "Potes" is 300 meters from the Main Road.,down a side track :ideal ..no traffic noise! (3)..: The bar area/eatery..outstanding ! Comfortable seating /staff in attendance constantly/ a pool table ..simply a great atmosphere has been created ! Plus...the most important issue .... a full fridge, always, with plenty of 'cold ones ' ! Great 'value for money '! (4)..: The room..: good size for me, but could sleep ..a 'few' more..4 clean towels and cleaned if requested ! Plenty of 'hanging space' ...for my 2 shirts..no, lots of coathangers and vast cupboard/desks/good wifi/great seating area outside /and no barking dogs !! Lovely ,efficient cleaning young lady . Early morning start to sweep outside..great work ethic ! As has all staff there ! They welcome you and genuinely enjoy their employment ! Makes a huge difference to a pleasant stay ! Full credit to all involved !

AustraliaReally cute treehouse vibe to hang out around the bar. The staff were lovely. Food was yum. I would have liked to have been here in busier times with more people. Nothing special to the rooms (no air-con) but was completely comfortable and fine for the price. I would suggest a scooter, although I did everything on foot and it was fine.

CambodiaIdeal place to stay in Kep because of the social atmosphere at night there in the hotel bar/restaurant since Kep doesn't have much nightlife. Close to beach and seafood market. Excellent value, clean, English speaking staff. Café/restaurant open long hours. Good place to meet people and get information. Reliable wifi

CambodiaRemi has a great place here. We stayed for 3 nights and had such a good time. All the staff were friendly and all joined in with games of pool in the evenings. Super relaxed and homely feel. Bar has a great choice of beers and cocktails. Does great tacos, breakfast options and evening too. A close walk to the local fish markets and just a little bit further on is Kep beach. Gave us a great little run through of the attractions close by when we checked in too. Thank you!

GermanyIt's a couple of kilometres out of town, but easy enough to walk (or get a Tuk-tuk). The plugs were very high up and so my charger kept falling out of them, making it slightly fiddly to make the plug stay connected.
Both the accommodation and the staff were great. I really enjoyed my stay. It was also really helpful that they organised the bus/ferry for me across the border to Phú Quốc, which worked out really well.

We’ve been travelling for 7 weeks now and stayed in over 20 locations. Thus is up there with the best of them. There’s a great vibe to this place. It’s run by a charismatic French couple, who are so welcoming and helpful. It’s a little out of town, but the Crab Market is still walkable. Bike for hire next door for $5 a day. Totally recommended.
