The owner of the hostel is such a great person and also all the volunteers! This is a great hostel for socializing. Perfect to stay when you want to get a proper sleep after Nest parties or any other place. The most beautiful beach is only a 3-4 minute walk away. I extended my stay 3 times, that says something! :)

some of the dogs occasionally bark/jump at you when you come home in the dark but i think they just have to get used to people coming and going

the hostel is situated 5mins walk away from the beach and therefore pretty quiet. since the place is very new (part of it is still being built) its very clean and the infrastructure is good. the staff and volunteers very very friendly and helpful with everything!

I don’t usually write reviews but this place was totally amazing. Chill, tucked away from the beachfront, clean facilities and cold rooms. The dudes who run it are lovely and the Turkish dude who welcomes you is suuuuuper friendly and genuinely helpful. I reckon soon enough it will be all booked up - good luck lads!

The location is great because it’s quiet enough to be away from the music from the beach, but also close enough to walk. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to the parties if that is what you are into. The rooms have air conditioning and private curtains with big comfy beds, which other hostels on the island do not offer.

Sometimes you could hear the music/ bass from the neighbouring hostels. Fortunately I was very tired and ignored the sounds. Also, the property is in a jungle and you have to watch out for snakes ( not many people see them but still you need to keep it in mind). The path is well lit at night in case you are returning late. If you have any white laundry, save it for the mainland as some of my favourite T-shirts turned brown. That was my only annoyance.

I had a great time staying in this hostel. The room is comfortable, has AC and individual curtains and lights for each bed. They serve a nice coffee at the bar (paid extra) and can arrange a transfer to another island for you as well as a snorkelling and fishing trip. The stuff and volunteers are very helpful. I would like to return there one day.

It was really noisy and every where is really dirty. Lizards and cockroaches were in our room . Another hand the bathroom and toilet was far from room .But they wash and change the sheets and it was good. Another hand this island is really noisy and very crowded with high level of prices. But there is not facilities

I have no complaints.

Amazing new hostel run by a local family. The beds are big and super comfortable, and they provide you with full-privacy curtains (feels like your little own room), outlets, light, a towel, and even a body-pillow(!!) in addition to the regular head pillow. The rooms have AC + big lockers, the bathrooms and showers are spacious and STOCKED with shampoo + body wash. The outdoor area is nice and open with some very comfy hammocks to lounge around in. Laundry service and motorbike rentals are available as well. From the hostel, it’s a short 5-min walk through the jungle to the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen. It's also 5-min to Funky Beach and 7min for Nest (15min for Nest Jungle). You can even go at night since Bunna (hostel owner) set up lights for the path for the trails leading to the beach from the hostel. PRIME LOCATION for both going out and staying in. It is right in between both Funky Beach and Nestival parties, and since the hostel is set behind the lagoon it’s nice and quiet if you want to stay in and relax. Walkable to Koh Touch (main town) through the jungle (20min). A previous review said it’s the best hostel in Cambodia, and I have to agree. For only being a couple of months old, they really have their things in order and I cannot believe the value. Please be sure to stick around and chat with the local staff If you see them - not only are they very caring and loving, but they literally built this place from the ground up and it's interesting to hear their stories. TIPS for future travelers: Remember that you are visiting an island that is not extremely developed, and the hostel itself is a part of the jungle. Have reasonable expectations like dirt/uneven roads, terrain (I do NOT recommend walking barefoot in the jungle lol), and resources (electricity/water can sometimes cut out - not all the time, but it happens). Please communicate with Dolla at reception if you ever need something urgently (I.e. laundry in fewer than 2 days).

I loved it here - cannot fault it. Amazing staff, comfy dorms, so many toilets and showers. Great location - short well lit walk through the jungle to Nest and restaurants. We partied at Nest most nights and it was so nice to come back to Koh Rong Lagoon each night as it’s clean, comfy and quiet. I rented a scooter through the hostel too which was great. Also if you head towards Nest but turn left, there’s a great restaurant called White Pearl with free sunbeds.

The only bad thing is that it's a bit far from the beach but it's not that bad, just a few minutes walk in the jungle :)

Nothing, everything was perfect

Perfect place, very close to the nest beach but calm enough to have good sleep. The beds are huge and very comfortable, with AC. The guy who works there is very nice and his food is awesome, I totally recommend trying the Lok lak. The WiFi works perfectly in the restaurant. If you want to spend some days near the party hostels but having a bit of privacy and chill vibes this is your place

Could potentially have a bigger food menu but there are plenty of restaurants close by.

The beds are doubles and have an extra pillow which is great. The AC works perfectly and there are plenty of showers and toilets. The location means it provides the best of both worlds, if you want to party, Nest and etc are close by, however it is far enough away that you can chill and actually get some sleep if you’d prefer.

Cannot think of anything, i loved my stay here!

Great stay! I booked 2 nigts and stayed 2 weeks and still it was hard to leave. The rooms are clean and the beds were the most comfortable ive had this trip. Strong AC and bed curtains for privacy. Best area of the island, nearby you have undeveloped beach areas for chill, good restaurants and big party hostels, without being disturbed by the music at night. Totally recommend!

Great place! In the jungle, 5 min from the beach. They are very welcoming and social. The owners invited us to a barbecue with them. A real local experience ! Probably the best hostel I have stayed in Cambodia.

This hostel is new and therefore was very clean and well set up. Nice beds, sheets and pillows with a light and charging plug in each bed. The showers have good flow and are always kept clean. The hostel is a short walk from The Nest and very close to the beach. It is all extremely good value for money. Though the best thing was the super helpful and informative staff who saved us a long walk to the village by checking with the boat company if we could be collected from the closer pier. Thank you for a great stay at such a great price!

There is nothing I don't like about this place literally Maybe not bugs and mosquitos but this is nature and island life so you should take some spray for that and keep your door closed :)

It has become number one among the hostels I have stayed in so far because I have never felt so comfortable and safe before. Dollar and his team are really nice people, they invited me and my friend to a local dinner and it was great to experience the local menu. I sent my friend off, but I decided to stay longer because this place is wonderful. Also, the location is much better than other hostels because you are close to everything but isolated at the same time :) I sincerely recommend this place as a solo female traveler, you will not regret it, you will have nice friends to your life, I am sure when you meet with crew :) PS: The beds were incredibly comfortable and it was thoughtful of them to put 2 pillows. :)

The hostel opened just recently so everything is new and clean. Exactly like in the pictures! The beds have a nightlight and a power outlet which was very nice. However the best thing about my stay was the owners! They were so lovely, kind and very helpful! I really had a blast, they really made the experience there unforgettable!
