The most basic Onederz I stayed in, probably as it's located in the islands. Only 1 shower had hot water and the room was always full of sand, but I guess this is to be expected at a beach location lol Prices were quite expensive compared to other Onederz and staff not so friendly, but overall I'd still recommend.

Brilliant location right by the beach and plenty of common areas to enjoy some chilled time. Unlike most places in Sanloem, Onederz takes payment by card (which is really helpful given there are no ATMs in the island!) - but only to pay the room and food, not transport booked through them.

The island itself is quite quiet (not really the property’s fault), but it means you don’t have many other bars to go to. Still a great location if you’re looking for somewhere to chill for a few days

You’re right on the beachfront so it’s a great spot for chilling, and the food was really good without being too expensive. Each bed has a curtain in the dorm, and you have your own locker to put valuables. The staff were all so friendly, particularly those behind the bar

The bath cleaning service all day long- it was super clean. It was right next to a Restaurant/bar and in between 2 Supermarktes. Could not be in a better area. The stuff was really caring too. Highly recommended. oh…and I guess every thursday it is beachparty time. Thus this is just the place to be. you dont have to move yourself at all. It is all just right there.

the location was great - in the middle of the beach. comfy beds and our room was really quiet even with the beach party. helpful staff and great that you can pay for accomodation, food and drink with card. lots of fun games to play (pool, connect4 etc). helpful with booking onward travel.

The dorm room and bathroom were clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy and individual shelf, light and curtain on the beds are a nice addition. The location is right on the beach and the atmosphere is nice and chilled! we only stayed one night but would have happily stayed longer

The only negative was on Thursday they have a beach party and the heavy bass music went on until 1am so couldn't sleep until after then. This will be fine for most as you'll go to the party 🤣 if you're like me I would simply avoid being there on a Thursday. Every other night was fine (some bar noise until around 11 but nothing that stopped me sleeping) The shower has little pressure.

The double room was it's own little building. Large bathroom. Good size room. Everything is so close. The bar and restaurant seconds from the rooms and right onto the beach. There is a free water taxi which picks you up from your pier I was worried about this and it was automatically sorted by Onederz. Bar games, beach entertainment, shop. Short wander from other hostels and restaurants, beach BBQ every night. Good WiFi. Day trips (expensive but if you want to change your days up). The island is quiet and peaceful and special but has atmosphere at night.

Some walls in the room was dirty. Quite many dogs on the beach.

Location great, bed comfortable, lots of games to play, beach clean, good food, Thursday's has a nice party in the evening. They have tours to see bioluminescence and swim with shining plankton in the night. Would recommend this place. They organize boat to deliver you to the hostel from the ferry, very handy. Also can carry your bag if its heavy. Thanks to all of you :)

Food in the restaurant is quite expensive but so is everywhere on the island

Only one bathroom for all dorms - girls bathroom has 4 bathroom stalls and 4 showers for everyone. Definitely need another bathroom for people to use. It was not the cleanest.

I loved the location of Onederz, in a really great spot right on the beach. The rooms were comfortable, they don't turn AC on till the evening which is hard sometimes with the heat, but it works really well in the evening when it's on and beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly.

Location directly at the beach, nice dorms, clean facilities, good breakfast options and barbecue at the restaurant, enjoyed the snorkeling trip very much, social hostel but no party hostel.

We stayed for 5 nights and did not receive any cleaning services. I didn’t mind too much about the bed sheets, but I had to ask twice for extra toilet paper and clean towels, and our bin was overflowing. Given the price we paid, I would have expected some sort of cleaning service after a few days which was disappointing

We stayed one week and the room was never cleaned, which was a bit annoying because of the bathroom. We believe we have gotten food poisoning at the restaurant on one day.

The Hotel is very lively and has a nice beach. The room was big. The prices in the restaurant are fair (around 5$ per meal).

We only ate at the Onederz restaurant a couple times during our week on the island because the food takes a very long time to be made, and there are not many vegetarian options. We preferred to instead walk down the beach to one of the other restaurants for meals. Also, there is no free water, but that is a bit understandable given the island location and the sheer number of people staying here (water is $1 out on the island as well, so I recommend coming with some bottles from the mainland if possible).

The beach is absolutely stunning, and almost everything on the island is right along it—most of the restaurants are concentrated within a 5 minute walk of Onederz. There isn't much to do besides relax on the beach and go in the crystalline water, so it is a perfect vacation spot. The dorms are kept very clean—the staff can be seen sweeping every area multiple times throughout the day to eliminate sand, and they make the dorm beds every morning as well. There were a ton of people staying when we did, but the dorms stay very quiet regardless of music and outside noise, and everyone in our dorm throughout our stay was very respectful. The A/C gets very cold, but is only turned on from 21:00-10:00, so if you try to nap during the day or go to bed early, it's a bit stuffy in the rooms (each bunk has a fan in it though). Also The bathrooms are kept very clean for the number of people using them every day, and the showers get decently hot with free shampoo and soap. We enjoyed our stay so much, we extended another three days!
