Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

as always, a great hotel with great staff! the pool is nice, and the people are so friendly ! I come very often because this place is really welcoming and the rooms have everything you need for a great stay!! I recommend it !!

The room was so dark, cool and quiet, had some great sleep in here. The restaurant is cheap and open the whole day. Staff are amazing! I needed Jerry’s help at reception 100 times and she was great every time!

Only downsides are that the beds don't have curtains, so you don't get as much privacy as in other hostels. Also there's quite a few mosquitoes in the room.
The hostel offers a great value for money - it's really cheap and very well located. There is a swimming pool, a pool table, and a restaurant/ bar. The staff is really friendly and like to help you with anything there is. Especially Jerry was very welcoming :) You get an airconditioned dorm (including a towel!) in a very central position in Siem Reap for very cheap. The beds were comfy enough and some of them even came with a little fan.

Jerry was very helpfull and nice. It was very easy to do activities through the hostel. The rooms were clean and spacious. In general the whole staff was friendly and helpfull. You'll feel right at home in this hostel!

Very good value for money. It has a swimming pool, billiards table and staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The wifi is super fast also. It’s a 5 minute walk to the pub street and the river. I planned to stay there for a day since I was afraid it was not going to be that great for being so cheap. Ended up staying for a week. Food is also good quality and very affordable. Not a party hostel but they do have a promotion for if you drink 3L of beer in 5 minutes you get it for free. Cheers!

Dee and Tom are amazing. Their customer service was top notch. This is my favourite place in Siem Reap. For 3$ you get a bed in a dorm and lemme tell you sth, the bed is so comfortable it can fit 2 people 😉 and you get a towel as well. Other hostels charge a 1$ for it. Thanks siem reap pub hostel

it was more difficult than you would imagine to get a long drink in the bar🤣 also payments take forever and with two currency's very difficult.. they always give you a price in dollars but you change will be in riel 🤣

Great location in the city of Siem Reap. Great with a swimming pool in the heat. Good rooms (stayed in the family room). Lovely and very kind staff (speak Englishvery well). Booked a guided tour to Angkor Wat for cheap money. Possible to buy simcard at the reception too.

There are some mosquitos in the dorms
The Pub Hostel really felt like home - the food and pool was good, the organised tours were perfect and the staff was super friendly and made a comfortable stay (especially Jerry: she always had a smile on her face and was totally helpful in every situation!)

Only cons is the mosquitoes in the rooms :(
The staff was INCREDIBLY friendly! Never felt so at home in a hostel, everyone remembers your name and this is so nice :) a special mention to Jerry, she always makes sure that you have everything you need! Also the swimming pool is a big plus considering the heat in Siem Reap!

Long time to wait for ordered meal, drinks. Waiter wasn t able to prepare mix drinks. Beer is terrible, fresh juice excellent.
Location of the hostel is good, close to Pub Street, market, but quiet.
