This is a very modern design eco focused hotel. I loved the room design , the bedding, amenities, filtered hot and cold water. Delicious breakfast .Biggest gym in a hotel complex I have ever seen wirh amazing equipment. The pool was magnificent. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff were friendly, professional ..they couldn't do enough to help. Mr Bun Ye Front officer Manager organised onward travel and tours. and Mr Richard Pobitzer Manager welcomed us with a bunch of red roses as we were one the first six to book on hotels opening. We were treated like royalty from beginning to end. Lastly the location ,while a little out of town is perfect, the view is amazing..from the hotel and the town centre only a short tuktuk ride away. Honestly I can not recommend the Sun and Moon Riverside enough.

Spent 1 night for a staycation at the Sun and Moon riverside, and was highly delighted by the hotel. All the staff were super smiley and efficient, the room was well sized and with nice amenities, the bed was comfy, we did not hear the outside noise, and for Phnom Penh, that is Thing! We had a room on the Bassac side, and the view was a must! The hotel is all new and everything was flawless, Plus the swimming pool is stunning , highly recommend this hotel.

New life style hotel in Phnom Penh, modern and very clean. Water despenser is available in guest's room, so you can choice to take cold either hot water anytime. Strongly recommend to all travelers.

I've stayed here a couple of times - the only reason I come back is the incredible gym. The rooms are pretty small and basic, and the hallways smell of stale cigarette smoke. It seems like most rooms are ajoining (with a door into the neighbouring room) and this means you can hear what's happening next door.

The gym is fantastic, one of the best hotel gyms going and the location isn't too bad.

This was the most disappointing experience. The hotel is relatively new and fresh - but that was the only positive. The worst is the service standards (non-existent), staff training and customer attitude. Checking in and out was a hassle. Conflicts at reception were common. Reception service is dysfunctional. Lack of integration with Booking.com IT backbone. Problems with credit card payments. When paying in cash, every banknote is checked under a microscope. Only banknotes literally printed yesterday, without the slightest mark, are accepted. All customers are treated as potential fraudsters and thieves. At check-out, rooms are inspected and questions asked such as "Did you use a laundry bag? The overall level of absurdity is such that we felt like we were in a Kafka novel. Overall, the lack of customer service and staff training, the disrespect and disregard towards guests more than makes up for the recent refurbishment. Highly not recommended.
