Beds in dorm were big and comfy, air con on throughout the night, and food in the restaurant was really nice. The shower facilities though weren’t great, one of the doors in our room didn’t have a lock, and the shower itself had little pressure and was cold. Other than that it was good!

The dorms are very spacious with huge beds, big lockers and big bathrooms. The hostel is right on the beach, walking distance from Eden Pier. Great communal area and amazing food!! We did have an issue with a odd man following us but that’s not really the hostels fault. Loved our short stay would recommend and would come again 😊

The aircon wasn't particularly strong and made a really loud beeping sound that woke us up during the night, so we had to turn it off.You don't get a cover or sheet for the bed, just an old blanket with holes in it, which made us wonder how clean it was. We stayed for 4 nights and our room wasn't cleaned once (we don't expect much, but considering you can't flush paper down the toilet, emptying the bin would be appreciated). The space outside the hostel also doesn't look like the pictures. It's a restaurant with tables and chairs, and only a couple of beds for lounging that were always full. Overall we felt it was overpriced for what you get.

The staff were really nice, and the location is great, right on the beach. The room was bigger than we expected.

Not well maintained. The bedframes are rusty, as well as the lockers, and completely dirty. The bathrooms are mouldy, one toilet was missing the seat and there was barely any water pressure from the sink. Only cold water in the showers.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and reasonably priced. The mattress is comfortable and the bed spacious.

The dorms get extremely hot during the day due to ac being turned off. But unless you’re hungover there is no reason to be inside 😆

I’ve been backpacking for 2 months as this place has by far the best staff of any hostel I’ve stayed at, super friendly and welcoming. Location is great and the food is reasonably priced.

I stayed for 4 days and when I arrived the trash cans in the 2 bathrooms in the room were full and they had not cleaned them in 4 days, and probably not the bathroom either. I understand that it is company policy but they do not accept cards at the bar either. In the end it is bad for them, since I did not have much cash because it was the end of my trip.So they lost 4 days of meals, I went to other hostels to eat 🤷🏼‍♀️ And the truth is that for $1 more a night you have much better hotels than this one, right on the beach.

Obviously it's in front of the sea. And the room wasn't bad. The staff is amazing, so friendly, They were all super friendly, the truth is that the best thing about the place was all the staff.

1) I have eaten at the Big Easy on previous visits, on this occasion I found the food to have deteriorated. 2) The double bed had no top sheet however there was a cover provided but not big enough for two people.

Bathrooms were not nice, broken toilet and smell, seems like they are never cleaned. Rarely seen people cleaning rooms anyway and aircon off 11-6 ( if they remember) near enough 3 power cuts a day and no signal on phone so you have to rely on WiFi.

Right on the beach, food good and alcohol cheap. Loads of English speaking volunteers. Beds comfy and AC cold

They don’t never clean the bathrooms (I cleaned them myself), and when someone leaves the room they don’t change their pillow sheet which is disgusting. The food is overpriced and taste bad.

The volunteers in the hostel were very nice. The drinks are cheap because of very good happy hours.

We stayed in a private bungalow, this could be so much nicer with a few tweaks. There was no hot water, hard mattress and pillow and nowhere to hang clothes. No outside light on terrace. These Simple improvements would make the bungalows so much more comfortable as we stayed for 6 nights.

The location was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food and drinks really good value for money. Most nights there was entertainment and the location right on the beach was super. Good aircon in bungalow. The volunteers that helped out here were lovely and really worked hard to make it a welcoming place.

Bathroom in the dorm wasn’t great as one of the two would hold the water instead of draining. Obvious other point was that it was only cold water but that’s to be expected on this island so wasn’t a big issue for us.

Great location and cheap. We stayed in a dorm and it was comfortable big single beds with a curtain. Storage for bags under the bed too. Good food options and happy hour too.

The bathrooms seriously need some maintenance.. No windows in the dorms, it can get very hot and smelly during the day.

The manager is a very kind person. Staff is also nice. The location is absolutely amazing. The beds are super comfy.
