We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeIf you are those who prefer to have a reception at the lobby on call 24 hrs, then this is not for you. The counter is man between 9am to 10pm.
Spacious room. New furnishings. Nice common space at lobby and just outside the hotel for guests to gather. Housekeeping did a good job. Location near train station though a distance from Dongdaemun main one. Convenience store just downstair. Like the fruit store particularly. Great fruits and reasonable price.

TaiwanThe bathroom light will go out automatically. There's only one washing machine and dryer. I didn't finish my laundry until three in the morning. The single bed is not comfortable because it faces the air-conditioning outlet.
The bed and quilt are comfortable and sleep soundly.

SingaporeThe hotel does not provide free lagguge keeping, if you do an early check in, before 15:00, need to pay at least 30,000won, and if you choose to use the locker, it charges at 10,000 for 3 hours. We paid 20,000won for 3hr 7 minutesl:(
The location is not that near to subway station, around 11mins walking distance. The location still near to center. And the hotel is clean.

United StatesFound a dirty plastic take out tray under one bed, the armrest of the desk chair was loose, and the towel rack fell off the bathroom wall. The on-premises coffee shop is only open from 10-1200, and there is no restaurant or food for purchase.
Room was nice and well appointed.

NetherlandsNoise. There is an almost constant noise in room 2105, which somtimes stops gor 20 seconds and restarts. Sleeping without earplugs is (for me) not possibly. (Luckily I always travel with).
Location is close to several metrolines. Seperate bathroom, good wifi, comfy bed.

PhilippinesThere was no free luggage storage service after check out, just lockers for rent.
Our room was spacious and clean. We seldom saw other guests of the hotel. Even the staff weren't always there at the front desk. It was almost like we had the hotel to ourselves. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

SingaporeThe hotel was in a great location and within walking distance (1 KM tops) to Gwangjang and Jungbu Markets; and Dongdaemum Design Plaza area even for 2 elderly women in their early 80s. Other places of interests were just a short taxi ride away, so it is really central. The hotel receptionist Mr Lee was very helpful and friendly - he went out of his way to drive us to a couple of nearby places ; ordered in food delivery for us and arranged for the airport. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. For the 8 nights we stayed we always came back to well made beds and clean towels. There were enough places for a reasonable meal in the hotel’s vicinity. I would come back to stay if I were in Seoul again.

United StatesAlthough there were some aspects of my stay at Acube Hotel Dongdaemun that I enjoyed, there were also a few issues that detracted from the experience. The air conditioning in our room did not seem to be working properly, which made the temperature uncomfortable at times. This was a bit disappointing, as we expected the room to be well-equipped for our comfort. In addition, the directions provided to use Google Lens were not helpful. The app didn't seem to translate what was needed properly.
I recently stayed at Acube Hotel Dongdaemun, and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The room was not only beautiful but also extremely functional and spacious, thanks to the clever furniture design. It was the perfect blend of style and practicality, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The check-in process was also a breeze - we were able to do it quickly and easily at a machine at the entrance of the hotel. This was a great convenience; we didn't have to interact with staff in person. However, the staff we did come into contact with were kind and polite. We could also communicate with them easily through the hotel's app. Overall, I would highly recommend Acube Hotel Dongdaemun to anyone looking for a stylish, functional, and comfortable place to stay in Seoul. The room was top-notch, and the check-in process was easy and efficient. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!
