Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI think a previous occupant of my room had smoked and so the room shouldn't really have been used until the lingering smell had been resolved
Great location, and good value compared to other hotels in the area. The breakfast was pretty good.

GermanyThe twin room was very small for 2 people. This seems to be a general problem with twin rooms - but it felt very cramped and with only a narrow window also quite dark. Very disappointing was the fact that the "bar" was in fact a bar/cafe that closed at 4pm. The beautiful picture of the fizz and glasses with the NamSanTower at night that they use to advertise the hotel is a situation that can not be recreated at all - and it was what I was really looking forward to - enjoying an evening drink in my own hotel with a lovely view!!. Given the cramped room with only one chair in front of the "desk" at the cramped narrow window, it would have been nice to have had a seating area somewhere else. Sadly, when the cafe closed at 4pm, the whole area was completely blocked off, so there was no social seating area left at all. So, luckily the location was good, because once we were back in our hotel, the only place we could sit was on our beds. Which is not what I expect in this category of hotel at all. I was travelling with my grown-up daughter, so we didn't want a double. But a spacious twin room would have been nice.
The location was excellent. Not only does the 6015 airport bus stop right in front of it, but it is perfectly located for so many attractions, many reachable on foot or for those further afield, the subway is a only a few minutes away. It's also only steps away from the busy streets of Myeongdong but with the entrance in a quiet side alley, it really doesn'tfeel like it. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. Had the room been a bit bigger with a proper sized window and the bar, or at least the seating area, have been open in the evening, it really would have been great.

KazakhstanWhen I booked the room, it was advertised as having a 'city view.' However, upon arrival, I found that the window only faced the wall of the building across from us. Instead of a 'city view,' it was more like a 'view of the opposite building'.
Good location of the hotel, cleanliness and cozy atmosphere

BelgiumBathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but not too small for us. My son and I are relatively small anyway, so it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine that for others it might be a difficulty.
Staff at reception were very welcoming and supportive. They answered every additional question that I had (and I had quite a few!) all in perfect English. The breakfast buffet was very nice considering I was traveling with a picky eater. Plenty of food options for everyone. Rooms were spacious enough considering we're only there to sleep. Bathroom was a bit on the smaller side but the shower was great! Location of the hotel was just perfect!!! Super close to underground shopping center, Myeongdong shopping area as well as plenty of other locations all within walking distance.

Hong KongThere’s no actual conditioner provided in the shower. (The bottle “Shampoo & Conditioner” really isn’t it. Was a bit disappointed as I kinda expected South Korea to be a bit more detailed in these body care/hair care areas.)
Perfect location. Walking distance from multiple Metro lines, and many buses. Easily reachable door to door from Incheon Airport by bus (6015). It’s located right next to the Myeongdong night market, so you easily get street food on your way back. Staff were nice and helpful. Great view of the N Seoul Tower & cable car. Pretty quiet, couldn’t hear other people/cars on the streets much.
