Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeWe weren't able to arrive the day we were supposed to, missing one night but weren't offered any compensation for not using the room or needing any cleaning happening.
We didn't attend breakfast but the room was comfortable and clean. We booked two rooms and we were provided connecting rooms, which was very convenient for our group of 4 people.

New ZealandThere was a strong smell of urine coming from our toilet, although the area looked super clean. This might just be a one off in our room, apart from that we would have rated this a 10/10 stay
We really enjoyed our stay here, perfect location for tourists, and was easy to catch the bus from the airport to the hotel. Bed was super comfy and staff friendly.

FinlandThere could have been more accessories in the room, such as a hangable notice on the room door for “do not disturb” or “make up the room”. Also small things such as vanity kits or higher quality shampoo and conditioner could level up the experience of the stay easily.
It was clean when we arrived and the room was cleaned and items replaced for new ones everyday.

AustraliaThe hotel location was great, near to airport limousine bus stop. The room had a weird smell when we walked into the room and had to open the door to air it out. There was no view from the window. Overall an okay hotel to stay for a night.

AustraliaThis was a fairly comfortable place to stay. The location is a tiny bit farther from the bustle of Myeong-dong than most of the alternatives, but not far enough to be an inconvenience - in fact, if you aren't a fan of crowds but want to be near Myeong-dong for convenience, this location is probably perfect. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a 24 hr convenience store just outside which came in handy. The rooms are small (but nothing less than most average hotels), and the window on the room we were given did face the concrete wall of the next building which was a bit sad (it didn't let any natural light in and could feel like it was barely dawn on the brightest day), but it was comfortable and enjoyable none the less. Great for shopping in Myeong-dong and Namdaemun and very easy access to trains. We enjoyed staying here and could definitely see ourselves staying again, especially for the low cost.

SingaporeUpon arrival, the first room was not so pleasant as there was a drainage smell coming from the toilet. The staff immediately changed another room for us which was really nice.
The location is excellent. It is within a short walk to the Myeongdong station and so near to the Myeongdong shopping streets. We went by foot mostly. Bus stops are also not far from the hotel. Next to the hotel is a minimart which is great for buying small bites and topping up our transportation card. Use their Naver app to navigate around. The bed was super comfortable and very quiet though our room was facing the road. Great sound proofing. Blanket was comfortable for such cold weather (below zero). Airconditioning was just great too. The airport limo also stops near the hotel thus we took it to and fro to airport which cost about $17 per pax, per trip. You can just top up your transport card and tap it off upon boarding.
