Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Shared bathroom in each room can get a little gross. Breakfast was very lackluster and I would not eat it again. Room is also very small.
Good location. Beds are comfortable and the screen gives you privacy. Lockers are provided. Staff is helpful and nice. There is access to plates and silverware. Drinking water is also provided.

It is sometimes quite noisy in the building. You have noise from the others room and from the hallway. The AC and bathroom ventilation make quite some noise as well. The bathroom ventilation isn't quite effective, after a shower it takes a long time to dry the bathroom.
A good price for the value, you can get a room with a private shower and toilet for an affordable price. The location is very good, you have a stay in a very central part of Seoul making a lot interesting tourist destinations nearby. You have close access to two nearby metro stations to other popular destinations in Seoul. Despite its central and busy location, you have a quiet room to yourself.

Not fantastic ventilation for removing steam from the room after shower so our stuff felt a bit damp by the end of our stay.
Perfect location right on the walking street but to one end so it didn’t feel crowded when you left, staff spoke clear English, breakfast was a decent spread (especially considering the cost), room was comfortable with good aircon and not loud. Small shower room was fine for us, shower was great.

The toilet space is way too small. There barely has any leg room in front of the toilet seat. The window is stained and kind of ruined the view.
The location is just great. I can go to my favourite restaurants and shops within 5-10 minutes walking distance. CU convenient store is just opposite. The female front desk staff is also very friendly and helpful. It is also possible to wash your own clothes with 500 won coins.

.. since i rent 1bed in all male room... omg other guest doest hav consideration even late at ngt... so noisy haha... but its ok... hav to put Reminder note on bulk room...
Breakfast is ok. i love their hard boiled egg👌... Location is perfect. the action is already around from shopping, transportation, restaurant, street food. esp the chruch. ❤️❤️❤️

Could use some male public toilets because one for a 8 bed dorm is often busy. The "capsules" are not very sound proof!
The location is perfect and a nice little breakfast. Friendly staff!

The elevator is a bit slow, and the establishment checkin is on the 15th floor and my room was on the 16th. Not the hotel’s fault at all! Just good to know. The room itself with the four beds was a bit cramped if multiple people were getting up and moving around in the morning at around the same time, and typical of this kind of accommodation, ymmv with whoever your roommates are and how mindful they might be. But overall, an inexpensive option with a clean bed!
Convenient location in the heart of shopping, street food, and entertainment at an affordable price point. The dorm space I was in had four beds each with a privacy curtain, and the room locked with keycard access. The cube had a wall socket for charging electronics as well as three hangers with wall hooks. The bed was a standard futon for this type of accommodation and comfortable, and the room had air conditioning. Breakfast was basic toast with jam, cereal and milk, orange juice, and hard boiled eggs. Basic but good - an excellent perk for the price. You wash any dishes that you use.

I like the location, it is very strategic at the center of Myeongdong Night Market. It is near subway and a lot of 7/11 or CU to buy night snacks. The host is very nice and good English

Proce felt high, but was in line with other properties nearby. There were no storage solutions inside the room, which could be bothersome on longer stays (I only stayed fir 2 nights over the weekend)
Central location, within walking distance to Myeondiing station, and the airport Limousin bus stop. Place was clean and modern.

two of my roommates where super loud in the morning and spilled water or something else right on the floor next to my bed so when i stod up i walked right in a pond of water.I believe usually you have better roommates:)

Everything was great except for when it came to breakfast. Even though the breakfast was very bare bones, I didn’t like how we had to wash our own dishes. I don’t mind the labor, but I don’t trust how well other people wash their dishes. Therefore, I have to rank the hygiene lower for that reason.
The location was excellent. Getting to Myeongdong station and Euljiro 1(il)-ga station was very easy. Not to mention, there were quite a few bus stops around the hotel which was nice. My room was quite clean considering I had 5 other roommates. It was quite spacious for what it was and the bed was comfortable. They clean your room every four days, but if you wanted to get a new towel, you could just ask the staff to provide a new one. Checking in and out was very easy.
