Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

First time staying in Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong. Hotel is literary at myeongdong, there are many restaurants and eatery nearby. Room is quite small, we don’t hv space for our luggage. There is no coin laundry service in the hotel, we hv to go next door Hotel Skypark Myeongdong 2 to do our laundry which I find it abit inconvenient.

Finding someone to help us with directions and where to go to see the sights. Also the foyer had a strong stale smell that hit you as soon as you entered.

The hotel feels dated and for a 4* hotel did not offer basic services such as laundry. (For transparency, I will add that a hotel from the same chain down the road offers self-laundry service, which is not very convenient).
The hotel is conveniently located a few minutes from a metro station, and for those who enjoy a bustling atmosphere, a very short distance from Myeongdong's main shopping neighbourhood. The rooms are decent and comfortable enough.

The hotel room lightings. Orange lights making the room dim.
Very convenient. Location is ideal. Near to the airport bus stop and surrounded by shops and restaurants.

Breakfast was a little poor for our European taste and the room was a bit outdated.
Best location in Seoul, right at the beginning of the Myeongdong shopping street. Despite the central location, our room was very quiet, we couldn’t hear any street noises! :) The staff is very polite and helpful. Cleaning everyday. We could do our laundry as well in the sister hotel right next to ours which we appreciated a lot. We would definitely stay here again.

The centralised heating. One time the room wasn’t clean by the housekeeping staff & a No Disturb sign was hanging outside the door (which we didn’t put) when we went out on a Day Tour.

More power points in the room would be handy. Water leaks after every shower from the drain next to the shower.
Great location and very convenient to shops and restaurants. We took the limousine bus from the airport and the drop off was very close as well.

Bed so hard and pillow so soft .
Everything was so convenient. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room so clean and every floor have water dispenser also smoking room. Right down at lower ground have 7eleven so convenient.

The hotel turned off the air conditioning units while we were there so it was a bit hot while sleeping at night. The hot water in the shower took 15 minutes to heat up on one of our evenings.
Location is excellent. Very close to the main walking street and there are many restaurants, shops, etc next to the hotel.

The korean staff at the counter could smile more and be more welcoming. The foreigners did a better job and were more helpful.

Didn't like the smoking room located at the room floors cos it made the hotel corridors smell. Also the fact that I had to move to Skypark 2 to do my laundry.
Loved the location (at one end of Myeongdong) and the ease of finding food, souvenirs. The staff were also always warm and welcoming, and they did not hesitate to render help whenever needed.

Maybe the pillow should be change to the better one as me and my wife having neck pain due to the pillow.
