-self-checkin in 4* hotel seems weird, we would appreciate more personal approach, not a terminal with assistant -tickets for breakfast were a joke, why not simply tell staff our room number, on top of that the eating room looked like some school cafeteria and the selection of food was weird (almost non-existent vegetables, fruits, no yoghurt, cheese, hams..., horrible coffee) -instead of the key/card from our room we received a PIN code which I personally consider to be a security issue because one has to enter the PIN on the hallway where somebody can "accidentally" see it - this one is amusing, the TV was to the left on the wall from our bed where it would be hard to watch it, we don´t watch TV during our stays in hotels but this TV was more like "let´s make a check, that we put it somewhere in the room, it doesn´t matter, that its position doesn´t make sense" - some things above are minor but altogether there are too many of them, if the hotel didn´t have 4* rating I wouldn´t have written them all but if you want to present yourselves as a 4* hotel, please, step up your game a bit

None, Our stay exceeded our expectation. I am glad this hotel was recommended to us.

The convenience of having a buffet and laundry at the hotel is a big plus. The food was great and the staff are very nice and kind. The facility was able to hold and secure our luggage prior to check-in time. The staff were very helpful in assisting us get taxi's for a large group to certain destinations and also assisting us in finding the best way to get around Seoul. I will definitely be recommending Hotel Skypark Dongdaemun I to my friends and family planning a trip to Seoul, Korea.

Very good Hotel in the very good location. Very easy to reach by bus 6001 from airport ICN. Bus stop opposite to the hotel. Plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, street food places in the walking distance. Very good Korean breakfast. Very nice and helpful personal. Very clean room with the daily service.

The room was small and there is no space to put your luggage and no luggage track . I have to leave on floor every time I have bent over to get stuff. The view I got was wall of another building.the reception area not as described on the booking .

Near Dongdaemun station. Near airport bus stop that goes to ICN airport. Staff are very friendly. And so many convenience stores around the hotel. Always my go to place to book when I'm in Seoul.

Wall soundproofing is not the best. The small light in the lobby with motion sensor sometimes turned on by itself (annoying at night). I would have appreciated it if the hotel had left a note of apology regarding their booking.com security breach that took money from my profile just before the vacation. (If the Skypark manager is reading this review, take note for future reference that writing two words is free of charge and is always appreciated by customers).

Very convenient location as it is 50mt from Dongdaemun subway station. The hotel has various facilities including laundry (very useful and easy to use). The cleanliness of the room was very good and the staff very nice and helpful.

The breakfast lacks variety. There are no desserts and just espresso / americano in terms of coffee. Also, the light at the entrance of the room (which is turning on based on movement sensors) is too sensitive. Whenever someone walked past our room, that light would turn on.

The location of the hotel is very good, close to bus stations, within walking distance of a mall and many streets with restaurants. Also, within walking distance of the Dongdaemun Design Plaza. The staff is friendly. You can also do self checkin / checkout. The room is spacious, very clean with a comfy bed.

I really satisfied with the hotel and will sleep here again when I visik korea next time. There was plenty convinience store nearby. Tour le jour and twosome are right infront of the hotel. Line 5 and many bus stations are nearby. There is also bus station for airport limousin rather than go to seoul station with AREX better use the bus limousine (it’s +9000 won but it’s worth it if you have luggage because from seoul station you have to take bus again and the numbering is a little bit complicated since there are so many bussses there)

I went out for a quick trip to the convenience store with the disposable slippers in the hotel late at night. Once I headed back, the security guard informed me to not wear the slippers out from the hotel, afterwards gave a condescending look as he walked away. Rather than fussing over paying customers, I feel the security guard should be doing his job ensuring security of the premise. Very lacklustre attitude from the security guard during my 2 day stay there.
