Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe hotel is right on the street of the night market, and also in the area where they have the early morning ceremony with the monks, so very convenient.

United KingdomI had a great stay at Indigo house hotel. The rooms are unique, clean and spacious. The location is fantastic, especially if you're wanting to explore the night market which is right outside. I would definitely stay here again.

United KingdomOnly downside was the shower. There was no partition from the bedroom and it was quite a climb, up two steep steps, to get into. Not a problem though if you are careful.
Breakfast (and availability of meals during the rest of the day) was excellent, with a wide choice and good quality. Location was perfect, close to main sights and especially being at the end of the Night Market (which closed at a reasonable time so noise was not a problem). The room was a good size and comfortable with good air conditioning. The cakes on sale outside the restaurant were amazing. The staff were all very helpful.

CanadaWe really enjoyed the food, but found that the staff taking orders and especially delivering the food were too numerous and didn’t.t have the info they needed to do a good job. When we ordered, a number was assigned to our table, but we observed that the staff delivering the food were not directed or helped by this system. They were forced to wander aimlessly looking for the person or table that had ordered it. An effective system and training would make work a lot easier for them, and dining a lot more enjoyable for the diners. We thought it was terrific to find that such a good place to stay was under Lao ownership.
Breakfast, location, food, and fantastic design features of the room and the hotel in general.

United KingdomNo lift so best to pick a lower floor if that’s an issue. Breakfast is a bit slow as served in the cafe that’s open to the public. Most days took at least 20 minutes to come so need to factor that in if you’re heading out for a trip/ airport. Shower room was a bit dated, could have done with some maintenance and separate toilet sometimes smelt of drains later in the day. Safe needed replacing as the lock button was very hard to get a response from, nearly broke my thumb pressing it!
Brilliant location at the end of the night market. Big twin room with lots of space. Good food for breakfast and friendly staff. We also had lunch in the cafe and dinner on the rooftop on different days and both were good. Lovely hotel cat! On site bakery also sells yummy goods out front. Very good value.

United KingdomHotel is on the night market and can be noisy as a result up to midnight. Didn't bother us but be aware. Also, there's only one internal staircase, which meant that traffic up and down to the rooftop bar, which is open to the public, added to the noise.
Central, convenient for everything. Staff were great. Super breakfasts. Good sized room. Super comfortable bed.

United KingdomIf I had to mention anything it would be that having the shower opening into the room was a bit strange and getting in and out of the shower was not easy.
Excellent location near to main attractions. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and with a wide choice. A special touch was that we were given breakfast to take away when we left early on the last day. Room was kept very clean and was spacious. All of the staff were pleasant and keen to help and made us feel very welcome. Cakes stall outside the hotel was an added bonus and the restaurant also provide a range of good food throughout the day.

New ZealandRoom only had one window which you couldn’t open or use as it literally opened onto the building next door. So felt like I was inside in the dark most of the time.
Very central, great location for the night markets, and also close to the post office where a lot of tours pick you up from. Good view from the rooftop bar. Room was large and well decorated. Breakfast was very good, large portions, and chosen from a set menu in the cafe on the ground floor . Staff were very friendly.

United KingdomThe building work next door meant it was difficult to use the windows, and noisy from 7.30am till late afternoon. I'm not a huge fan of hotel rooms without separate bathrooms.
Charming period style hotel overlooking the food court and night market, and walkable to the Mekong and local temples etc. Wonderful patisserie outfront with superb breakfasts. Happy helpful staff. Rooftop bar with great views at sunset. Nicely decorated in local fashion throughout.

United KingdomHotel location is just opposite the night market. If you stay in the room in the front, you will hear the music until 10.00 p.m. I highly recommend requesting the rooms at the back. It is much quieter.
This hotel is located in the centre of the town. It's very convenient to walk around and explore the area. The morning market is just the next block from the hotel and the night market just next to the hotel. Their staff are very helpful and pleasant.
