The location is quite far from the city center (no restaurants/shops close by). Its a 20min walk to get to downtown, its not too bad but a bit inconvenient

The staff is very friendly, the breakfast is decent( 2 fried eggs, two baguette slices and some fruits). It's in a very quiet neighborhood.

I didn't like the morning temple prayers haha but it's okay, it's their culture and I respect that. I didn't like the breakfast part, haha I had an expectation I guess like a buffet breakfast but it wasn't. Just eggs, tomatoes, fruit, two slices of bread. But it was still good! Oh yes and I didn't like the fact that the kettle wasn't able to plug in but it's there to use but it can't be used haha😄

The staff are friendly, willing to help and assist. They really go out of their way! I liked out view of the river. They have free coffee soooo nice!

The only negative thing we can’t used the kitchen and there is only two bathroom for the whole hostel. I have to wait 20 minutes for a toilet because the shower are inside the bathroom.

The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on and I made a noise every time I'd make the smallest move, which was so so annoying. The bathtub's drain was not working properly and the room's floor wasn't very clean

They less make the bed if u stayed some day, but it's ok, the shower spray usually don't had hot water or little hot, this is not good for my shower 🚿

The house nearly river and local market, staffs are kindly especially they can speak English, the breakfast was delicious from a young girl. In the day u can watch the river and trees and coconut tree and mountain and sunup sunsut, it's wonderful 💯

The bathroom could do with some fixing, the water doesn't go down the drain and the showerhead falls off easily. Its a bit of a walk from the centre of town as there is no bamboo bridge or boat currently running. No tea available, only coffee.

Beautiful terrace that overlooks the river and mountains where you can watch the sunset or eat breakfast, good value for money, the dorm was nice and quiet.

Have to walk across the bridge into the town-about half hour. Room cleaning not done everyday so the floor was very dusty and no proper glass on windows, just bug screen and wooden shutters.

I arrived later than expected, but I was warmly accommodated upon my check-in. My stay here has been wonderful, with the bed proving to be exceptionally comfortable. The cleanliness of the facilities is impressive. I particularly appreciate the fresh white towels and the availability of slippers. The staff has been outstanding, assisting me with all my activities. Additionally, it offer a stunning view of the river and mountains. I would certainly return if given the opportunity, as LP has now become one of my favorite places.

Very clean and well-kept hostel with genuine staff always willing to help. I arrived late and was tired and hungry. The shift manager recommended a lovely restaurant and offered me a lift. Later he helped me sort out travel arrangements. You could always count on him.

Mattress too soft and sponge for me, air-conditioning too cold and blowing on upper beds, small room for six beds and without any window. Booked in USS$. Payment exchange rate 22500 kip. Waiting time to cross the river by boat at times.

Clean, spacious hostel, big bathroom, few guests, friendly and accommodating staff, open terrace, quiet sorroundings, free water refill, balcony. They offer two free boat rides per day to cross the river and get into the centre.

Only one bathroom shared by up to 18(?) people and it obviously gets quite dirty.. I think they should maybe renovate this bathroom cause it’s very big. Make it into 2-4 shower/toilet/both rooms instead and make people use the sinks outside. Remove the main bathroom door all together. That was you get more privacy and people don’t have to wait for someone showering or doing their business! You can also make showers/bathrooms in the outside area. This is honestly the ONLY thing you guys need to do to have a perfect place! Weekly BBQ on the terrace could also be good to attract people out there and spread the name! Loved the stay, thanks again!!

Bathrooms are just okay/sub par.

Everything! We stayed for a week (dorm and private) and loved it. They were just about the only place not heavily price gouging during the new year. It's a quiet hostel, but we still met some great people there. Huge porch outside is gorgeous. The manager is absolutely amazing! We had lots of good chats and he helped us with just about everything. Dorm was simple, but clean and cool. Private was spacious with a very comfy bed.

The location wasn’t awful, but we didn’t realise that the closest route across the river was about a 10 min walk away, making the overall walk into town centre about 25mins. The hostel do give free coupons for a river crossing via boat 2 mins away however we never managed to get hold of the boat which was a shame. A minor issue for such a stunning hostel!

Extremely clean hostel with great facilities and a nice outdoor seating area at the rear which overlooks the river. We had a private room which was huge for the money we paid and very very comfy! Breakfast was basic but good for the price. We extended our stay for an extra night & the staff were fantastic at accommodating us. You really can’t argue with this place, we would highly recommend!

The location is a bit away from the centre, across the river from the centre of Luang Prabang meaning a quite long walk including across the iron pedestrian and motorcycle bridge. Our fault for not realising this when booking ...... so no fault of the hostel

The room was quiet and comfortable as were the beds. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was simple but good with a nice selection of fresh fruit daily. Friendly and very helpful staff who arranged our trip/tickets to Pak Ou caves and a taxi to the airport in the early morning of our departure. Room would be better if it had a small fridge to keep water cold, although there is a free hot and cold water drinking supply in the lobby
