Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

VietnamIt was very clean, comfy and the aircon worked well. We also had a place to put our bags so they weren’t just on the floor. It would’ve been nice to have our own bathroom but that’s okay we shared it with another private room and it was always very clean.

IndonesiaThis is not the hostel fault but currently there are road construction, its not noisy just a lot of dust. But it make the night market nicer because no car or motorcycle in the location. I stay at the private room and this is not the hostel fault, but some guest just think thats okay to scream and punch the wall at night.
Near central bus, many restaurant, laundry and near night market. Very good breakfast.

GermanyThe sheets were not clean, but we only stayed one night so I did not complain about it. However I suggest the hostel to buy some new ones 🙏🏼
The location is perfect. Right next to the night food market, but quiet and a 20 min walk from the Bus station. The shared bathroom was clean and they provide slippers. The bed was comfortable and the included breakfast was good.

MaltaOn the second night in the middle of the night two men got into the room (which was a female only) but seemed lost. Did not like the fact that the room keys seem to be all the same and one key can open other room doors
Had the dormitory all to myself for the first night

New ZealandThe contact with staff was very tarnsactional, so you don’t really get to talk or ask about the city but that’s fine considering the language barrier.
Great value for money. It’s clean and simple, and coming with breakfast is a great bonus. Really central location. It was very quiet not many people were there.

NetherlandsBed didn’t look and smell clean, room was dirty with dust, spiderwebs and bodily fluids. AC made a lot of noise, luckily we didn’t really need it during our stay. Shared bathroom was okay, not the cleanest.
Hostel was right next to the night market which was great! Breakfast was good and filling. For the price it’s decent.

DenmarkI couldn't figure out how to regulate the water temperature in the shared shower, if at all possible - so it was kinda lukewarm :D

ThailandThere is one toilet with shower for two rooms. No small shelves in the capsule. No hangers on the balcony for drying clothes after washing. Though these are small things overall... Not much importance.
Good, price. Good location near night market. Nice view to the street from the balcony. There is kitchen counter with dishes, sink, cups. But you can't cook there. There is electric kettle and microwave, fridge. Bedding is clean, mattress is convenient. You can sit in a separate common big room -lobby and work with laptop.

GreeceThe staff was not helpful at sll, probably because they didn't English. The girl who helped me with check-in didn't tell me that breakfast is included and what time. They didn't give me the wifi gone, I had to ask for it, and the service was in general very poor, like everywhere in Laos.
Very nice, clean, and spacious hostel as shown in the photos. I was lucky enough to be alone the first night, and I really enjoyed my peace. The bathroom was super clean, and taking a shower was the highlight. Upu get s nig kitchen with fridge and an amazing couch, so you will feel like home

IrelandThere was only 1 shower between the 2 rooms in the female half, this was not ideal. The floors got quite grubby very quickly. We were not informed that the other door in the common wasn’t another room but, in fact, an extra toilet. This would have been very helpful when people were using the shower.
Well located, rooms were spacious and had decent storage. AC was plentiful and worked well. Nice kitchen and common area. Very helpful when arranging a taxi to the airport.
