Close to the ferry terminal (in walking distance around 10 minutes). Staff was nice. the equipment is older but functional. Common area and balcony is nice, the room is spacious. They accidentally charged me twice, but we solved this. So this I also appreciate.

Shared kitchen/bathroom accomodation is basically a shared 2 bedroom appartment - not necessarily a problem, but it seems strange when someone else arrives you were not expecting. Very dim lights, shower a bit rubbish. Tired and dated.

Facilites are old and simple - like a Motel 6 but more random and ramshackle. However the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. The airco was good but only worked in the bedroom. The tv was very tiny - so didn’t try it.

There was a shared bathroom with a person whose room was directly next to ours, which we wasn't aware of when we booked. Also be aware it is a steep to get up the hill to it so it isn't walkable, but the host can arrange a driver down for you.

Location is very close to the Ferry terminal and the host was very nice, and there is a nice view and the host does provide small food options if you're hungry.

It’s not a problem but I’d advise people to drive or get a taxi there. It’s up a steep hill which was a pretty sweaty hike with bags during the day. And at night I wouldn’t walk it as the neighbourhood is not the safest and there are no street lights. Otherwise the host was friendly and it was a pleasant stay. Morning yoga on the terrace overlooking the harbour with a cool breeze was great!

James was very helpful. He helped me with the luggage, to order food, and to get a safe ride to the airport. His cooking is great (I had breakfast and a sandwich). The location is superb.

The only minor issue I found was that the shower in the 2-bedroom apartment felt a little narrow, especially for those who are a bit larger. Other than that, it was a great place!

The view from the balcony during both mornings and evenings was truly remarkable. Overlooking the airport and seaport allowed us to watch cruise ships dock as well as planes and helicopters land, all while enjoying the scenic backdrop of the mountains. The host, James, was exceptionally accommodating and ensured that our stay was pleasant and hassle-free. Additionally, the air conditioning in the rooms functioned well, and we appreciated having hot water for our showers. Overall, it was a great experience!

Tricky to find on the streets and you need a plan for parking… but it always works out.

James, the host is a fantastic person!! Engaging and helpful. Close to the airport and port. The main salon area is fist rate to relax and read and overlook the harbor. It’s like being in a home.

Great last minute booking to catch the nearby ferry in the early morning. Only a 10 minute downhill walk to the ferry terminal. The city center is also easily accessible on foot.

Perfect location above the ferry terminal. Nice views and just 5 minutes walk down the hill to catch the ferry at 7.30 in the morning. James is a very nice host who can make sandwiches and has drinks to sell.

It's perhaps a bit dated and could go with lots of small improvements. Note that the access road is steep. Not suited for old men with heavy suitcases. James will happily arrange for a taxi pickup.

James is an amazingly attentive and funny host. It's perfect if one has to catch an early ferry.

At the time I was there the air con in my room wasn't working (luckily it wasn't terribly hot out) and the WiFi was also not working (host was looking into it first thing in the morning but I was gone by then). In my opinion this place is pricey for what you get ... but not unreasonably so for the Caribbean.

The location is ideal for ferry access, as everywhere on the island you have to go uphill. Beautiful common room with terrace. The rooms themselves are somewhat spartanly furnished but clean, fully equipped. Really helpful owner.

Super inclined road, like 30%, good luck with your luggage if it's wet. morning dead cockroach found on the bathroom, good for some proteins. Almost no hot water, good for blood circulation. Host said "don't be out after 7pm except if you want to be robbed". After this we even feared the chickens on the road side.

Difficult to put my hands on something I didn't like, however I am sure that a little touch-up here and there it could be a gem.
