United KingdomVery disappointed that you had to get up ridiculously early to secure a sunbed with a shade. This was so annoying as we were getting up earlier on holiday than we do at home. Also a lot of reserved beds were then left unused all day. Be good for Sandals to stop this practice and find a system which stops so much angst and moaning from their guests.
Resort was very nice. Food excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were generally good and friendly. Rooms were adequate but not outstanding. Grounds of resort were immaculate. Beach and waterspouts also very good.

Trinidad and Tobago1. No variety for breakfast- same menu for the 4 days we were there. 2. Staff took every opportunity to try to upsell additional services to us, of course, at an additional cost. 3. Lobby bar hours very limited- should be opened earlier for guests who do not want to be by the noisy pool bar. 4. Had to pay in full ahead of arrival, with the only option being non-refundable. Does not sit well among a post-pandemic traveller.
Property kept very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Shuttle service to and from UVF was really appreciated.

United KingdomPerfume was stolen from my girlfriend's perfume bottle on two separate occasions while we were out of the room. Hotel security said they conduced an investigation but as no staff member admitted to taking this, which clearly they wouldn't, they considered it 'inconclusive' and would therefore take no responsibility. We only realised as when we returned the first time the bathroom smelt heavily of the perfume, the bottle was completely clear unlike some perfumes, and it had been purchased brand new at the airport so having 1/4 missing each time was really noticeable. We took a photo after the first occasion and within 24 hours it did not go down again so we know there was no leak, then as we were out of the room another day there was again another 1/4 missing when we returned. It is highly likely that this type of theft is happening all the time and most people do not realise, I certainly wouldn't have spotted any of my aftershave missing given I had owned it for a while and the bottle is fairly opaque. It is also especially worrying that even after we raised our concerns to the security team the first time that this happened again within a few days and they still refused to accept any responsibility or even treat this with any seriousness.

United KingdomA run down resort, staffed in the main by people who seemed to resent their jobs and were rude to the guests. The volume of the music and tannoy from the pool area was intolerable, we asked for another room, but had the same issue with the next one. With the windows closed we still needed noise cancelling headphones to nap in the day. Things were superficially clean, but a general griminess prevailed. The stand out issue though was the sullen attitude of many of the staff who seemed to view the guests as the “enemy”.
Dining at Gordon’s. CJ was the best member of staff by a mile. In fact pretty much the only one who tried to shine.
