Nothing that we didn’t like, but worth taking note… The property is on a steep hill, with steps required to access the rooms. Our room was barely larger than the bed, which was all well needed. Cold shower in the morning. Cash payment in person. This is a stark contrast to the resorts of the island, but an absolutely adequate way to experience the area. Would stay again.

Safe, clean, easy walk to water and into Laborie. Smooth taxi to/from airport. Excellent responsiveness from Frances. Great opportunity to spend time with the friendly people of St Lucia.

Had a lovely stay at Sunset Lane! The panoramic patio with kitchen is great (definitely a perfect place for morning coffee or a glass of wine and a good book in the evening). Comfortable rooms. Lovely owner who is super friendly (during my stay it was her mother’s birthday and all guest were invited to the party in the village). Will definitely come back! Location is also prefect as base-camp if you have a rental and what to visit all the sights in the Vieux Fort and Soufrière region.

Would have been nice if breakfast was included, which I think it was before covid. Small, shared kitchen to use, which was fine.

Location is fab. Amazing little fishing village with a friendly and safe community. Lots of places to eat and drink. Close to a bigger supermarket than those in the village. Property right on the beach.

Unfortunately continually throughout the night a dog was barking in the house immediately behind my bedroom , and as a result I could not sleep when it was barking. There was no ATM in the town and none of the restaurants /bars /shops took debit or credit cards, this would not have been a problem had I known but I had very little cash. The nearest ATM I believe is a 15 minute drive but I did not have a var.

Excellent accommodation and location. The small town ,beach , ambience are a hidden gem. Very much a local atmosphere, unspoilt, and local people very helpful and friendly (as are most St Lucians). The kitchen area with a spectacular view overlooking the beach. The location was a few minutes walk from restaurants and bars.

Need to arrive before it gets dark, otherwise not easy to find. But the host provides good instructions, and very supportive.

Sunset Lane is a gem set in a quiet coastal village lightly touched by tourism in St Lucia. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the ability to walk anywhere in the village. The beach was close and easy to access, although few people used the beach because the visitor population is small. A fabulous getaway!

Nothing I didn’t like except would have been nice to have coffee. Coffee was hard to find and it’s super important to many travelers. We found an instant package and evaporated milk in a local grocery store and made our own, so if you book, bring your own and your own powdered creamer

The property was as advertised. Clean, air conditioned room, very comfy bed, great bathroom, shared beautiful kitchen with house mates, gorgeous views. Laborie is magic. Its an authentic local Caribbean experience which we love! If you’re looking for a resort go somewhere else, but if you want to live like locals… this is the place! Not a lot of amenities but so authentic! Everyone so friendly and welcoming! It’s like St John 50 years ago, tourism hast arrived yet!! LOVED IT!!!

A leaflet stated breakfast was available but we didn't see anyone around on the two mornings we were there. When arriving late at night breakfast would of be nice.

Sunset Lane had everything we needed. Room was a good size with fab views over the bay. Communal kitchen worked very well.

The place was so clean and tidy, the room was very spacious and the window view on the beach is so gorgeous. It’s a perfect place to watch the sunset It’s a walking distance from the beach and Mama tilys

Wifi is good and the place is 7 minute walk to town, but the guest house itself has no food services at all, so have to schlepp to town for all meals. There is a kit hen so it would be nice if they could have enough onsite to make your own light breakfast

The parking was a bit challenging since the local street was so narrow. Making the U-turn was tricky.

The deck in the common kitchen was awesome! Being able to enjoy morning coffee, breakfast and even evening refreshments to the sounds of waves was awesome. And the view! We really enjoyed the view and how peaceful our stay was. You did have to get groceries for your stay prior to getting to the place. At least for the breakfast. There is a small store in the village but we drove to a bigger store about 10 min away.

Nice quiet location near the edge of the bay with a lovely terrace overlooking the whole bay with beautiful sunset views. Just 5-10 minutes walk to Laborie for small local restaurants and shops, and 15 minutes walk around the bay to a small quiet beach. Frances was friendly and welcoming, and arranged a taxi onwards. Not far from international airport.

This was an amazing place to stay. Right on the sea with a balcony with a beautiful view overlooking the bay. Frances was so friendly and helpful and they had great facilities.
