Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHot water took forever. You will be washed before it gets there. A bit noisy when house parties in full swing. Bums accost you outside. Town is very tiny. It seemed like I paid in advance (in dollars) and they made me pay them directly (in their currency). Im pretty sure I havent been double charged. Not much of staff.
View is the main selling point Ac was good. TV was good. Big supermarket a mile down the road. You can get a taxi from there. Bus. I didnt try it. Other hotels were way more expensive.

BrazilWe were travaling with our 6 feet kite bag full of kite gear. The hotel is located in the 4th floor of the building with no elevator, so imagine arriving tired from a 18hour trip and climb 4 floors with the kite bag. Besides that, the hotel was empty and we were not allowed to do late checkout for free. They asked 80USD for more 2 hours in the hotel.
Me and my wife needed a place to stay 1 night before we take a sailboad from Soufriere. The place is very close to the main pier where the boats anchor and all you need is around the hotel. Restaurants, bars, supermarket, pharmacy. I had an issue with my board during the flight to Sta. Lucia and I could find all materials needed to fix my kite board neraby the hotel.

United StatesUp four flights of stairs, difficult to bring heavy luggage up when we checked in and back down when we checked out. No dedicated parking, and parking on the street can be challenging - there are always some spaces available, but the streets are narrow with sharp ditches so it's hard to park. Can get pretty noisy during the day and on weekend evenings. Hotel desk is theoretically staffed during the day, 9-5, but they're often gone for hours at a time, so can't depend on being able to get things you need if you're mostly out and only at the hotel for limited times during they day. No microwave, though there is an electric hot water kettle. Mini-fridge is small and very weak even when set to maximum - things take all day to get cool and never get fully cord. Sinks are small and very very shallow - you can't even fill a standard 16oz drink bottle because there's no space to fit the bottle's mouth under the faucet. Wi-fi is free but very bad, often drops out for a minute or two, and gets slow a lot of the time.
Large room, lots of space. Family room has two bathrooms, with two showers. Very convenient location for shops and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice view of the mountains, and balcony over the street. Air conditioners worked effectively. Note that there is no servicing of rooms during your stay - which we considered an advantage, but some people may not. If you need more of something, such as towels or soap, you go to the front desk and ask them for it.

United StatesCould have been cleaner but a very good value if you don’t mind 3 stars.
Downtown waterfront location in Soufriere. Near restaurants bars and market and dingy dock. Walk up 4 flights with luggage. Fitted our needs perfectly. Room had fridge hot water pot good air conditioning and sea view (over tin roof tops). Bed was comfortable but sheets didn’t fit well. Room was shabby but comfortable. Staff was great and it was very safe.

United KingdomThe hotel is a bit dated, but you've got what you pay for.
Location was spot on, right in the city centre and close to the bus station. The beach is 5 minutes away. Lovely lady at the front desk. She upgraded me to a sea view room, without me even asking.

Saint LuciaThis is my third time staying here we wanted to stay a extra night for jazz but my girlfriend declined she was very disappointed. The room was not clean the phone did not work there were no face towels we could not iron on the first night of our visit. The plug for the fridge is way under the bath mat does not help I had to put a shirt in front of the tub after my girlfriend slipped. This place has so much potential someone just needs to step up. Am a hoteliers so these things am saying to you is for your improvement. See you soon.

United StatesThere is no elevator, but it's only a matter of three floors. The hotel is well worn.Everything works but needs a refresher. It's not a place to hang out ,but a place to sleep ,and perhaps have breakfast in the room-and then get out and explore the most scenic part of the island. The area around the hotel is very poorly lighted at night so it's probably best to avoid walking around after 8p.m. or so . In the daytime the area is a fascinating one to meander through.Authentic Caribbean charm and people.
I so liked it here that I extended my stay to 9 nights. It's a modest hotel, probably 3-star...but the room was very well cleaned,it has a refrigerator and cutlery, and most important-a powerful and whisper-quiet air conditioning unit on the unit's balcony. My room faced the sea .The view was spectacular.Room was quiet.Comfortable bed and pillows.Strong wifi signal. Plentiful hot water. Very amiable staff. Grocery store is 40 yards from the hotel. Petite Peak restaurant, overlooking the water, attracts patrons from far and wide. It's a 30-second walk from the hotel. With the thousands of dollars I saved staying here(compared to Anse Chastanet ,Ladera,Sugar Beach,Jade Mountain Hotels)I was able to hire a skipper of a small boat to meet me each morning at the pier(one minute walk from hotel) to take me to Sugar Beach,Anse Chastanet and Freedom Beaches each day-where I had delicious meals overlooking the sea at those hotels, snorkeled and swam .

United StatesNo shampoo, conditioner, lotion, hair dryer, beach towels, micowave. Booked a room with one large bed but got two small beds. Kept getting phone calls - people trying to reach the hotel or plaza somehow kept ending up in our room...
Location in central Soufriere, spacious room and bacony with sea view. Very basic but fine when you know what to expect. Glad there was AC & a small fridge.

United KingdomThere’s a lot of dodgy people around the hotel, everyone is trying to scam you.
Staff were really nice and helpful; you can walk to many places from there. Rooms are big and clean, but don’t expect anything luxurious. Don’t pay extra for the sea view! city view is so much better you can see the church and the mountains and it’s spectacular.

United Kingdomright in the centre of Soufriere so a good base to go anywhere. this is a no frills hotel and, as long as you come with that expectation, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it here. fyi - most places in Soufriere stop serving food by 5/6pm!

United StatesIt is never fun to need to put toilet paper in the waste basket, but that's necessary, right? I cannot remember, but I think there was no guide to TV channels, which is something my husband likes. Again, not very important.
The location was perfect! The balcony gave us a great view of the harbor and the activity. The room was large, two beds--great! I think the TV worked well, but that was less important to us. The room was bright and light.

GrenadaThere are a lot of stairs to go up before you can get to the hotel and even more to get to the room. It's not ideal for persons with knee problems. The Wi-Fi is spotty and not available in the rooms easily. The bathrooms need some work however.
The hotel is located in a very ideal spot in the town of Soufriere. It is very convenient to get to different locations from here and the staff were really knowledgeable and helpful! Many convenience stores around also.
