Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

A Night in Paradise with Miss Elvy’s Flair Perched on a hillside, high and grand, Tropical Paradise, the gem of the land. In Anse La Raye, with a stunning view, One lovely night—too short, but true! The rooms are snug, but just wait and see, That infinity pool? Pure luxury! Gazing out where the town meets the bay, A picture-perfect end to the day. Now Miss Elvy—oh, what a force! She does it all, she runs the course. From meals to rooms, she’s working away, So sit back, relax—this is island delay! A feast awaited, what a spread, Creole shrimp and chicken fed. Mahi Mahi, plantains fried, Mac and cheese stacked up beside. Provisions crisp, potatoes baked, Not a single bite forsaked! Piton lager, cold and cheap, Flowed as stories ran so deep. With friends from Atlanta, we laughed and dined, Swapping tales of travel time. A perfect stay—our hearts do say, We’ll dream again of Anse La Raye!

DenmarkBreakfast very basic and still took a long time from ordering. The same with dinner. Unless you like walking (which we do, so not a problem for us :-) you'll need a car, since it's at least half an hours occasionally steep walk to or especially from Anse la Raye.
Excellent view from the very nice pool and restaurant area. Nice and spacious room. Anse la Raye is very nice to explore.

United KingdomAnse de Raye which is at the bottom of the hill didn’t seem very inviting.
A gorgeous view from the hotel across the bay. Breakfast and dinner on site which was exactly what we wanted on our way from soufriere to Rodney bay. A perfect stop over for us.

United KingdomThis hotel is genuinely beautiful in all aspects. It has magnificent views and the gardens are stunning. The whole place is full of new corners to appreciate the surroundings. We were treated so well by all the staff, a particular highlight was the home cooked food - especially the breakfast pancakes

Trinidad and TobagoThe staff was rough amd abrasive to me and my family. The fan in the room wasn't working. A lot of things on the menu were unavailable. The water was cold as the water heater was solar powered.

United KingdomNothing! I thought the pool would be a little bigger but it’s all you need! The view is stunning
This is truly a little slice of paradise! A hidden gem in the hills by Anse la Raye. Elvie and Primus run this place wonderfully. Elviie makes the most delicious home cooked food - a real treat. And spoils all her guests so much. She is always working and attentive to all you need. Primus is wonderful too and will personally do trips of you don’t have a car. I also loved my early morning walk with him. There are beautiful beaches close by and the little village is filled with lovely people - the sweetest people I have had the pleasure of meeting in my 3 trips to St Lucia! I can’t recommend Tropical Paradise View or Anse La Raye enough! It’s utterly delightful. 👍🏾❤️👍🏾❤️

United KingdomThis place is just perfect! It has stunning view a of the sea, picturesque Anse La Raye and the lush mountains. Our suite was beautiful. Nestled in their vibrant gardens it was incredibly comfortable too. Primus and Elvie were great hosts. Always happy to help with a smile, they made us feel so at home and Elvie’s cooking was DELICIOUS. When I mentioned I had a sweet tooth she even made a desert especially. It’s touches like that that make us want to go back (if not stay there forever) and to recommend it as a wonderful place to stay in St Lucia.
