Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. As it’s so near to the Main Street you could hear the karaoke bar which was quite noisy. Take earplugs and you won’t hear a thing though!
The apartment is a 2 minute walk from the Main Street where there is everything you need. Aruna the owner was so friendly, he made us a delicious pot of tea when we arrived and then every day of our stay. We were there for the Sri Lankan New Year and he also prepared a lovely breakfast for us.

We had a lovely stay here. The room is basic but with all you need and had the comfiest bed and pillow we have had on our trip in Sri Lanka. The host is so warm and welcoming and it was lovely sharing tea on the patio. Thank you!

It would be perfect if there was drinking water and/or breakfast availability. Ella's main street is a bit noisy even from afar, but that's not the inn's fault.
The owner is incredibly friendly. The place is peaceful, comfortable, very clean and near Ella's main street but far enough from most noises.

A cup of tea overlooking the garden on arrival and a warm welcome from the delightful host.... not to mention the fact that it's only about 100 metres from the bus station (but tucked away out of sight and away from the noise of a tourist town). This was one of the highlight 'stays' of our trip, and, especially given the price, is highly recommended for budget-conscious travellers who like a touch of four-star treatment. Ella is such a tiny town that 59B Rest Inn is close to everything, and the host told us the quick way -- the way the locals know -- to get to the Nine Arches Bridge without paying a rupee. We have a garden-lover in the family, and 59B boasts a rich and varied collection of plants. So I can't think of a single thing not to praise.

We hadn't hot water in the shower + water pressure was really low. Maybe it was something temporary, but it was difficult to wash hair after a long day

It was the perfect location in Ella. Hosts were lovely and so accommodating, allowing us to leave our bags in their property for the day while we explored Ella before moving on. They gave us a map and asked if we needed any advice re our plans in Ella, also giving great restaurant recommendations. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed.

We were welcomed by the owner with a lovely pot of tea following a 7 hour road journey, so this was just what we needed. 59B is in a good location just off the main high street, meaning it was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Ella. We only spent 1 night here and it was more than adequate for our group of four adults. Its centrally located meaning we could walk to Ella train station to catch our train to Kandy without having to use a taxi/tuktuk. Ella itself is a great town and we wish we had allowed ourselves an extra day to soak up the happy atmosphere generated by all the various tourists.

Amazing location right in the heart of Ella. The hosts were always on hand to give us tea and coffee and were so hospitable, giving us a map of Ella too! Nice room - family orientated vibe. Would stay again!:)

The host was very welcoming and the place was very nice. Functional rooms, perfectly priced. It was relatively quiet but super close to the main street with all the restaurants. I would stay there again!

No mosquito screen on the window. There was loud music late at night from some bar nearby. Room was a bit small for luggage for 2.
Really nice owner. Good location and close to the ella rock trail and yoga studio. Bed had mosquito net. Provided laundry service. Overall a good stay.

Great location off Main Street, quiet, close to all restaurants, bus stop, taxi pick up etc. Room was large and hot water showers. Nice patio area to sit and enjoy the garden. Tea and biscuits are served at any time. Mr Aruna is very helpful and kind.

The room, that is really clean, has everything you need for a confortable stay, even warm water. The host is really nice and caring, he helped us to find local buses and gave us a map of Ella . Surprisingly, outside the room, in the garden I wasn't bothered by mosquitos (what's your secret?) Few meters walking and we took a bus that brought us to the south coast.

The only thing is that it doesn’t have AC, but it has a fan. That’s also being told before you book, so we did know it before hand.
Good location and the owner was so nice and very helpful. Always around to answer your questions. You can walk to little Adam’s peak and all the other nice activities around. Perfect location to the restaurants.

Minor detail but the washroom vents into the main bedroom. Also they currently have some construction going on in the daytime, it was not a problem for us
Great location, everything was clean, host was very warm and welcoming. Offered us tea and gave us information on things to do. It’s a short walk to the train station and the Main Street with lots of eateries. The property has a lovely garden and is very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much. They have a beautiful, energetic young puppy as well.
