we loved everything!

We are a family of four From Canada (two adults and two kids aged 6 and 10). This was one of our favourite stays while visiting Sri Lanka. The host is one of sweetest people that we have met here. She made us feel very at home! our kids were in the kitchen cooking with her and laughing. they were learning how she made some of the most amazing local dishes we have ever had. we were here all four nights that we stayed here simply because the home style cooking was just phenomenal!! There is also fun activities nearby such as visiting the rock pool beach which is just beautiful! nice restaurant on the beach and we would hang out there all day basically having a pristine beach all to ourselves. I cannot get recommended this place enough. We came as strangers and we left as friends!

The food is truly excellent, very generous portions and we had lobster on our first night which was amazing. The location of this resort meant we were able to make two attempts at turtle watching - ask the owners to get the turtle watch to call if there is a sighting! We used the bikes to visit the local beaches, you can't swim much due to the high waves but it is a beautiful area. If you're looking to see turtles check the season and stay here!

This was a lovely quiet spot where you are surrounded by nature and wildlife. Amazing host that was very helpful and made tasty food. The breakfast was great - almost too much food. We ended up eating at the property for lunch and dinner too which was reasonably priced and delicious. Room was big and clean, with well working shower and aircon, plus mosquito net which is always good. Turtle point is nearby where you can go at night time to spot turtles laying eggs if you’re lucky by paying 1500 (only have to pay if you see turtle).

You already discovered Rekawa beach which is a hidden gem in Sri Lanka with beautiful nature and a special beach landscape for turtle nesting. All View Resort fits perfectly in the atmosphere of Rekawa and is the place to be. At All View Resort you will discover: - Authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. The hosts are very welcoming, friendly and will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect and help with everything (transportation, tours to Yala and Udawalawa, tuktuks, etc) - Best home made Sri Lankan food. All meals are cooked by the host herself and the food is incredibly tasty and authentic. I had all my meals there and always looked forward to eat the rice and curry, vegetable rotti, kotthu, coconut rotti and fruit plates. Other tourists staying elsewhere come here for the food and cooking classes. - Place to relax on the common terrace by yourself, meet and vibe with the other guests or chat with the hosts Rekawa is a beautiful place for nature and is not a party place and neither is All View Resort. So when you come here please be considerate with the local culture and the nature.

It was a perfect accommodation for us and we had a great time there. The location is away from noisy city, we really appreciated the calm evening there. There are some small shops in walk distance or you can borrow a bicycle and go the nearest village (app. 10 min.). Food is one of the best that we had in Sri lanka during our vacation. Breakfast is typical Sri Lanka and it is every day different. If you want you can also order lunch and dinner and choose from various of delicious meal. Beautiful beach si around 10 min. by walk, in the morning and evening you can see turtles there. Highly recommend this accomodation you will love it!

The room smelled a little like mould, the “garden view” was not really a view, no shampoo/conditioner and no fresh towels or cleaning during our stay. The host was friendly, but did only give recommendations to her own collaboration partners and liked to cook for us - but did not give any restaurant recommendations. The properly is located near no restaurants or supermarket, and far to a nice beach (recommend silent beach), so we spent more time and money on tuk tuk than assumed

The beds were hard but comfortable, great room size, aircon was not too noisy and the host was helpful preparing food. Fine common area on the balcony

The small size of the rooms. There was really no room for our suitcases, so we ended up placing them on our beds.

The hostess was very welcoming, kind and helpful. The room that my husband and I were given at first was extremely small, almost claustrophobic. However, she kindly gave us a different room that was slightly larger with two comfortable beds. The best part of our stay was the freshly made food for breakfast and dinner. Our daughter had a room next to us, and it was a good size for one person.
