United KingdomIt was a little tired, the bathroom could have been cleaner. There were no towels in the bathroom, they came quickly once notified. Shuttle car to airport was $15 & on time.
Nice location overlooking the lagoon, big pool. Not far from airport. Staff were friendly, food & drinks were fine, didn’t have the breakfast.

The staff here were fantastic. We just stayed one night after flying in and arrived late but the staff welcomed us warmly and even gave us a room upgrade! The room was big and well appointed with a beautiful view. The breakfast was fantastic with local dishes and western options.

OmanStrong cigarette smell comes from toilet fan and spread inside the bedroom. I think if someone was smoking from the upper floor, all smoke comes through the toilet fan. This should be rectified.

I asked for a quiet room, but from early morning the staff was shouting and making noise in the corridor, as if on purpose to let us sleep. The air conditioner creaked and interfered with sleep. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone for a vacation.

GermanyThe bag courier asked some very personal questions which made me uncomfortable as a solo female traveller. The room was quite poor for what is advertised as a 5* resort. They provided me with a city view room but there was no privacy as the window curtains opened onto the car park. Additionally, the room was not sound proof which meant that I could hear everything outside and from the kitchen on the ground floor.
The resort is well located. It is close to the airport and near the lake, with beautiful sunset view. The reception staffs were very friendly.

Food was not good, pancake rolls served cold, and after waiting 20 mins for our bottle of prosecco, it comes to pass they have no stock, so they had sent someone out to purchase a bottle. So that would have been warm I guess. The spa on the balcony was falling apart. Would I pay the price for this place again. No.

BruneiOur room was a bit run down - stained lamp shade, no mattress protectors and one bed didn’t have a proper bedsheet on - it was a duvet cover which only partly tucked in, TV didn’t turn on (in fairness we didn’t ask for help to resolve that issue). The overall impression was that it is a hotel in need of a bit of TLC, so it was disappointing compared with the very good reviews we had read prior to booking.
The bar man/server was very nice, responsive and helpful - I didn’t get his name as I would have liked to have given him a mention; all other staff were pleasant. The location is very handy for airport transfers. The hotel is next to the lagoon so very nice to be able to sit in the garden with a nice breeze and look out to the water. There is a pool, and our daughter enjoyed having a dip when we arrived.
