There was an issue with out aircon which meant we didnt have aircon for one night but it was fixed the next day by a technician. It was hard sometimes to get a tuk tuk but I think that is common for Sigiriya.

The king bed was good and room set up was nice with a cute balcony and lovely view of the mountain. The pool was clean and the host was lovely - he made us a yummy curry for dinner (just be prepared to wait for it) and good breaky.

Rooms were average.

The staff were very welcoming. Loved their hospitality. We got welcome drinks which were much needed after long hours of traveling. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. They had a selection of games for entertainment. Overall we had a good time.

Internet was non existent. Others had the same problem. Being technical we offered to potentially fix the issue (without any charges) but it was declined. We lost some business because of the lack of Internet and the signals/data on our 2 different Sri Lankan mobile networks were wavering due to location. The description does NOT match the property which if we'd known we wouldn't have stayed there. Only 3 pool loungers, so you might have to lie on the floor. Having said that, it is a lovely place for peace and quiet with lovely views.

Lovely views from balcony over pretty pool and gardens. Breakfast was OK. We had a newly refurbished room which was large, bed very comfortable, TV with various English speaking channels, kettle with some tea and coffee. The roads (lanes) were quiet so you could walk or run around the area without much traffic. We enjoy being away from the crowds so your own transport is very useful.

The wifi was very weak and unfortunatly we got no hot water during our stay.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel is maybe not a 4 stars hotel but is comfortable and clean which makes it worth staying for a very reasonable price.

It is little bit remote from the town and Sigiriya rock, but easy to get around by bus or tuktuk

The pool. Quiet They got up at 430 to unlock so I could leave at 5 to visit the rocks.

No more food option prepared for us due to the on more visitors at that time. But they prepared which we were requested.

Location is good. And also at that time we are the only visitor in the hotel, therefore we have full freedom to do any thighs as we wish.

Excellent hotel in Sigiriya run by Polish/ Sri Lankan team. It is located 4km from town in front of beautiful lake covered by lotus flowers. They have everything you need- big, clean swimming pool, big, clean rooms with AC and hot water, bicycles, scooter and motorbike for rent, tree restaurant with stunning view of the lake. Very tasty breakfasts are included and they can also make fantastic tuna steaks or prawns! They can provide free transport to Lions Rock, Pidurangala or Sigiriya town. Chłopaki! Wielkie dzięki. Na pewno wrócimy!
