Fabulous location right on a quiet, long stretch of beach. Room was big & clean, and had a sea view. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Shashi was a great host, providing delicious breakfasts every morning, and helping out with tours etc. Great value for money, would recommend!

The owner is a very nice and creative lady. The breakfasts are very rich, something different every day, the table is decorated. They can swim about 1.5 km to the left in the bay near the Wasana beach hotel, where the waves are not so big.

The hostess is a very nice and pleasant lady. We were here for several days and the breakfasts were a little different each time, beautifully arranged. No stereotype. We had breakfast in the garden overlooking the sea. Across the road is a shop stocked with everything. Swimming is better in the bay to the left of the accommodation, about 1 km, from the Wasana beach hotel. There are not as big waves as along the coast. I recommend Ayurvedic massage & Shirodhara

I absolutely loved this small hotel! It’s simple, but its location right by the beach makes it truly special. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the ocean view was amazing. The atmosphere was peaceful, and our host Sashi was so friendly and welcoming. Every day, we were treated to a different delicious breakfast, which made our stay even more special. Plus, we could always count on Sashi for help—such a kind and attentive person! This hotel is a true hidden gem by the beach. Highly recommended! :)

We are happy we found this little hotel located directy at the beach. The owner/staff was so nice, we felt absolutely well from the beginning. She was very mindful and friendly during our whole stay, e.g brought us a fresh juice to the beach, helped us to find coconut honey in the shop next to it and offered us to check out later. The selfmade breakfast was very delicious. We would come back again, 100% recommended!

The host was lovely. On our arrival, she offered a coffee. We had a good breakfast in front of the beach. The place was so quiet and chill. The beach is amazing ! The room has an A/C and a mosquito net. We wished to stay longer but...no more room available

Great location. A wonderful family running this small hotel. Breakfast was lovely, sat on the beach. There is a nice restaurant next door for evening meals, but you are pretty close to lots of other restaurants.

Small 3-room property run by a lovely family directly on the waterfront, and boasting a small garden and beach loungers. We had the ground floor room, which had all the basics: mosquito net, working AC, a newly installed ceiling fan, and a clean bathroom (without hot water). Shashi is very attentive to her guests and prepares great breakfast every morning - she even gave us a ride one of the days. You can hear the waves from the bed. Amazing place to relax for a couple of nights, and a welcome break from the "resorty" vibe one can find in the area.

This small hotel is located directly at a beautiful peaceful beach. The rooms are simple and clean. I felt very welcomed - the owners are so kind and always helpful. They arrange delicious homemade breakfast. Many Restaurants are nearby. Also train station and bus stand. I will come again one day :)

I don’t know if this is a cultural thing or not, the bathroom didn’t have any soap/hand soap and other bath products. Just another add on to this great place

Our stay was perfect, the host Shashi attended to our every need with utmost care and always with a kind big smile. Despite she had a family emergency. The location is great in Bentota, beach side, very well equipped with beach amenities. Would definitely stay again if ever came back to Bentota

Everything was AWESOME.

Shashi is the best host one could imagine. She arranged everything we needed and more. She prepared a delicious breakfast every morning with new Sri Lankian tastes each day, her nice garden with palm trees at the beachfront is the perfect setting for that. She also called nice Tuktuk drivers to take us around and remommened us great activities. A nice restaurant is also right next door. What more can you want?

Nothing as such. It was value for money

Everything was amazing. Shashi's hospitality is top notch. The breakfast was scrumptious and filling. There's a private beach access which was wonderful. Sea is a bit rough but still enjoyable. There are many restaurants nearby. Bed has a mosquito net so didn't face any bug problems. For travel, I would highly suggest Uber or Pickmeright.

A wonderful family: mum, dad, a sweet daughter who helped mom decorate the breakfast table and a gorgeous grandfather. The hostess is always ready to help. We bought shrimps in Bentota and the hostess cooked them for us. There was a lot of delicious food for breakfast: always local fruits and coconut dishes. Sometimes breakfast was accompanied by interesting stories of local dishes Rooms. Some have air conditioning, some have sea views. The beach is excellent: 5 km in one direction, 5 km in the other. Endless ocean walks. Thank you to your family❤

Shashi and his wife take care of guests very much! We had pick-up from airport during night and came straight to paradise! Located right on the beach, very calm place with good basic AC room. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Amazing different and very delicious breakfast served individually with ocean view. Shashis wife told us many interesting things about Sri Lanka-its culture/food/traditions. Organized tour to Turtles farm. Very helpful and welcoming family!! Beautiful long beach with turtles putting its eggs at night. We enjoyed relaxed atmosphere there-swimming, suntanning, eating and just enjoying the moment! Definetely will come back!! Thank you!!

It was a real pearl in our trip to Sri Lanka. Arcadia has been our last stop before return home and this is the kind of staying I prefer much above staying in star-hotels. Everything was top and above exactly like it was said by other tourists in comments. Still miss this place and the family of Hasith taking care of us, and hope once again come to visit it. Book it and enjoy, dont think twice:).
